Holiday rentals with breakfast in Dublin Southside

The wooly cottage is so peaceful and relaxing! Paul gave us clear directions to the house, and Trish welcomed us after we arrived. They also provided us with fresh eggs, bread and milk, which was very much appreciated! I loved walking out and seeing the flock of sheep across the street. It always put a smile on my face! I can't say enough positive things and highly recommend staying here!

Even better than the photos! Our oldest affectionaly refers to this as "the toy house". Both our kiddos (3 & 1) had a blast here, and it was very easy caring for them with all the child friendly things. Aside from the many many kid amenities, this house was truly beautiful. It was comfortable and clean and very well appointed. The hosts were so friendly and quick to respond to questions. Very walkable to some great food and a bus stop. We would absolutely stay here again!

We loved the location of this house. It was an easy Uber ride to downtown Dublin, but I loved the fact it was only 10 minutes from the ocean and 15 minutes from the airport. Jenny was responsive and helpful. I would recommend this place.

These days have been amazing! The house corresponded to the pictures and it was so cute!☺️ Libby was always reachable by message and this made the communication perfect. The house is in a quiet and family-friendly neighbourhood, 20 minutes away from the city centre by car. We appreciated everything!😊

Perfect location for us in a quiet neighbourhood. House was spacious and clean and Roisin was a great host and very easy to deal with.

Sukh’s place was perfect for us. Flew in late to Dublin and then only 25 mins to his place. House was as described and perfectly clean and tidy. Also close to local pubs -about 5 mins drive

Its a nice, well organised place. Easy check-in. Jagdeep lives close by and was able to come over quickly when we had an issue with the hot water. The kitchen is well stocked with traveller's leftovers. Thanks Jagdeep!

If I could give Valerie 6 stars I would! Valerie and Derrick have paid attention to every little detail to make this small space workable and comfortable. The most important thing in staying somewhere is a comfy bed and good shower this home has both. We really appreciated the supplies that Valerie provided and we had everything we needed plus more. The little extra touches like umbrellas, fruit and an Easter egg (we stayed over Easter) and the use of her washing machine made our stay that little bit more enjoyable. It is a 30-40 minute bus trip into Dublin €2.60 and the village of Clondalkin has pubs and shops a short walk away. If you don’t want the noise of the city this is a fantastic place to stay. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you to Valerie and Derrick for being the perfect hosts.

Apartment was perfect for the 2 of us, shop nearby if you need to pick up anything, close to plenty of bars and pubs, and the information pack included was very helpful, would 100% stay here again next time in Dublin!

We finished our trip with a few days here in Dublin. Everything was exactly as described and the location cannot be beat. The apartment was super clean and perfect size for four of us to hang in our first night with a few pizzas from the local food store. The kitchen has all the essentials for feeling right at home. We were glad we turned in our cars before arriving since there is absolutely no need for one given most everything is close by, the bus stops across the street and taxis line up at the hotel next door. I highly recommend.

We enjoyed being able to walk through Dublin and visit many places on foot.

Geraldine is such a lovely host, she was so good with my two girls and they loved the raspberry bush in the back garden! Very responsive and very helpful. We'll be back to stay again

Very good stay and location, with Ruani we had a quite active conversation at all times, a good apartment, quite cozy although with some details to improve, such as having an outlet in the bathroom to be able to heat the bathroom, which was quite cold at all times, or improve the mattress. Otherwise everything was perfect, the rest of the house was quite good, the heating worked perfectly just like the portable heat pump. In addition, the host provided us with breakfast, milk, cereals, among others. All kinds of utensils in the kitchen and towels in perfect condition. Very recommended.

I stayed at this place for 3 months with 2 friends and we had an amazing time. The place was great, right next to the Guinness museum and a 20 min walk from Dublin’s center. The host was really kind and friendly, I recommend staying here !

A gem of a place to stay, close to the sea and easy access to DART rail service. Cathy & Tony were the perfect hosts, such warm hospitality Tony you are a wonderful raconteur with a wonderful sense of humour! I would definitely stay here again 10/10 Thank you both again for a fantastic stay!

What a beautiful home in such a lovely area. Helen is such a lovely lady and gave us such a warm welcome as soon as we arrived. Put the kettle on as soon as we arrived and we enjoyed lovely soda bread and cake. Lovely room , warm comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended. Mary and Peter were great hosts for my stay in Dublin. Their B&B was charming and quiet. I enjoyed the provided breakfast in their sunny kitchen. I would highly recommend this place!

Mary was a super host: extremely welcoming, friendly and hospitable. Her home is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean and our bedroom was very well presented and comfortable. We enjoyed eating our continental breakfast in the sunny dining room which looked out onto the garden. Mary’s homemade soda bread was freshly made and still warm. A delicious treat!

Maeve and Ken were the best of hosts. There were very nice and welcoming. They welcomed us with food and coffee. The room was really great. We loved staying here and discussing with Maeve and Ken. Also, as Ken loves to cook he offers breakfast in the morning to the guests which is a really nice gesture. The house is really close to a bus stop and around 20 minutes to go to the city centre or the airport. Would 100% recommend you stay here for your trip, and we'd gladly come back if we go on another trip in Ireland. Thank you Maeve and Ken.

Had the pleasure of staying at Marie's stunning house. Marie is very warm and welcoming and you do feel like you're a guest in her home. The room was lovely and comfortable with good wifi and bathroom right next door. Only a short ten minute walk into the local village where you can get a meal or coffee. Also walkable to Powerscourt and the gardens. You will also meet Bailey, the adorable golden retriever...just to mention that Bailey likes hot buttered toast as I do :-) Overall, excellent and would highly recommend as a place to stay.

I had a brilliant stay with Tereasa and Hughie. They’re exceptional hosts who make you feel instantly at home. The house and rooms are beautiful, with a peaceful back garden that's perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was excellent, featuring a Nespresso machine and a great selection of cereals, breads, and spreads. The property is located in an affluent Dublin neighbourhood, with plenty of great pubs, restaurants, and coffee shops within easy reach. Getting into the city centre was quick and straightforward. Overall, Tereasa and Hughie went above and beyond. I’ll definitely be booking with them again next time I’m in Dublin.

Staying with Albert highlighted the biggest differences between staying at a hotel and an Airbnb with an attentive and caring host. We weren't just another paying customer. He was helpful with local recommendations on many subjects, chatty if we wanted but was never invasive and when my husband split his jeans he actually had a needle and thread. My husband also had planned to shop for a high visibility vest while there for an ultra race but Albert had one he could borrow. The comfiest bed we stayed in our whole two week trip. Breakfast was simple but quality and generous. We loved having the privacy of the whole upstairs. The view from the bedroom was beautiful, since his house sits at the end of a cult de sac. Very quiet. This was a top notch find!!
