Account Set-Up

Before you can receive your first assignment, you’ll need to get your account set up. This page will take you through the set-up process.

If you haven’t already, be sure to update your payout method by following our instructions linked below. You will not be able to accept an assignment until this is updated.Once your payout method is set up and your first assignment images are successfully uploaded, payment will be processed within 30 days of the photoshoot.

Create your Navigate account

Navigate is Airbnb’s media management tool.
  • Look out for an email inviting you to set up a new account with Navigate.
  • You’ll be required to use the email address attached to your Airbnb account when setting up your account for the first time.
  • After creating and confirming a new password, you will be able to access your new account on Navigate.
Pro Tip: You can increase your password strength by adding capitals, numbers, and characters. We suggest that you change/update your password every quarter.

Logging into Navigate

  1. Enter your email address and password.
  2. Click ‘Login’.
  3. If at any point you need to reset your password, this screen will also provide you an opportunity to do so.

Navigate layout

  1. Navigate to your home, payments, and insights pages.
  2. Change your password, update your location, and set yourself as inactive in account setting.
  3. Chat with our bot to get answers.
  4. This view allows you to see assignments that have a scheduled date both in the past and future.
  5. You’ll find all your action-items in your inbox.

Account Settings

Once you’ve logged in, be sure to adjust your settings so you can begin receiving assignments based on your selected location.
  1. Toggle on when you are accepting new assignments. Toggle off when you want to pause assignments.
  2. To stay in the loop on what phase of the process the assignment is in enter your phone number to receive SMS updates.
  3. Change and update your password here (we suggest that you change/update your password quarterly).

Location settings

Now that you’re accepting assignments, you can select your location.
  1. Click “change address” and enter in your current home address. Based on the address you enter, it will recommend listings in nearby areas.
  2. Add or remove nearby areas you’d like to receive assignments in.
  3. If you plan to accept assignments while traveling, be sure to update your address before and after. Additionally, follow all local laws and tax restrictions.
