^{Official Rules of the Airbnb Eurostar Competition}

^{YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE AIRBNB ACCOUNT IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE TO ENTER THIS COMPETITION. NO ADDITIONAL PURCHASES OR PAYMENTS ARE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE.}^{By entering this competition (“}^Competition^{”), you agree to these terms and conditions (“}^{Official Rules}^{”). The “Interpretations and Disputes” clause below contains information about the applicable law and jurisdiction governing these Official Rules. If Airbnb provides translations of these Official Rules, the English version shall prevail in the event of any inconsistencies.}^Promoter^{Airbnb Ireland UC, a company registered in Ireland under Company Number 511825 whose registered office is at 3 Dublin Landings, North Wall Quay, Dublin 1, D01C4E0, County Dublin, Ireland (“}^Airbnb^{”) is the promoter (“}^Promoter^{”) of this Competition. Airbnb's employees and suppliers instrumental to the success and organisation of the Competition are referred to, together with the Promoter, as “}^Organisers^{” in these Official Rules.}^“^{Country / Region of Residence}^{” means the state / jurisdiction associated with your Airbnb Account, as determined by Airbnb based on the option you select or the determination of your residence based on the various data associated with your Airbnb Account. As further described in these Official Rules, the Competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom.}^{The Competition}^{The purpose of the Competition is to identify the Entrants who will win the Prizes (“}^Winners^”).^{Eligible persons (“}^Entrants^{”), who meet the eligibility conditions set out below at any time, may enter the Competition from 00:00 GMT on 17th February 2025 until 00:00 GMT on 3rd March 2025 by following the procedure set out below. Entries must be submitted in accordance with the procedure described in these Official Rules and, in order to be eligible, must be received prior to the close of the Competition. Entrants must have access to the Internet in order to enter the Competition. Applications received after 00:00 GMT on 18th February 2025 or submitted by any other means will not be considered and will be automatically ignored.}^{The Prizes}^{10 Families will be eligible to win the prize each consisting of the following:}

^{Up to 4 x Eurostar return tickets; and}
^{1 x £1,000 Airbnb credit to be used on your next booking in Paris,}

^{together the “}^Prizes^”.^{The Eurostar tickets will be subject to the separate Eurostar terms and conditions, available here, so please read these carefully.}^{A prize is awarded to each Winner according to the following terms:}^{10 prizes are available. Each of the 10 Winners will receive up to 4 return tickets to travel in Eurostar Standard class from London to Paris, subject to availability. The price per ticket is 100 GBP including VAT. This estimated value is given by way of a guide only and is subject to change.}^{Eurostar tickets are for journeys leaving from London St Pancras International station and heading to Paris Gare du Nord station. The prizes do not include the Winner’s journey to the departure station.}^{Winners must book their prize tickets before 31.12.2025. Bookings must be made at least three weeks before the date of travel.}^{Eurostar tickets are non-exchangeable, non-refundable and subject to availability. The Winner should book as soon as possible to benefit from the prize on the selected date. As it is compulsory to select a return, the Winner may not book an outward and return journey on separate dates.}^{All travellers should travel together for the outward and return journey. This prize does not include travel insurance. The prizes do not include personal expenses such as meals and/or transfer expenses, or}^{anything not expressly stated to be included in these conditions.}^{Eurostar International Limited’s Conditions of Carriage apply to all journeys taken on Eurostar trains operated by Eurostar International Limited. Separate Conditions of Carriage shall apply for Eurostar services operated by THI Factory SA. The Conditions of Carriage can be found in all Eurostar sales outlets and on eurostar.com.}^{Eurostar’s aftersales conditions also apply to Eurostar tickets and can be found on eurostar.com.}^{The Prizes do}^not^{include any additional expenses, taxes, or disbursement of money and will be issued in credit and/or voucher form only. No cash alternative is available.}^{Only the ten (10) Winners will be eligible for the Prizes, subject to these Official Rules. No substitution or transfer of the right is permitted, nor will it be possible to convert the Prizes into cash. This is without prejudice to any decision of the Promoter regarding the Reserves, as set out below.}^{Unforeseen circumstances or any changes that may affect a Winner's ability or willingness to participate will not entitle them to receive any compensation, alternative opportunity or cash payment. The total value of the Prize is approximately £1,800 and is awarded in credit only in respect of the Airbnb booking and as tickets for the Eurostar journeys. Winners will not receive the difference between the approximate amount and the actual Prize amount.}^{In the event that the Promoter deems it appropriate to change the Prizes proposed, they will be replaced with other Prizes of equal value.}^Suitability^{The Competition is open to Entrants who are already registered users of Airbnb aged 18 or over who are residents of the United Kingdom.}^{If you are not a resident of the United Kingdom, you will not be eligible to participate in the Competition.}^{In order to use a Prize, Winners must register on the Airbnb platform and must have met the eligibility requirements set out in the “How to Participate” section below.}^{Anyone who is in any of the following capacities is not eligible to participate in the Competition: any director, officer, employee, independent consultant, advertiser, and agent, including those in subsidiaries or affiliates of either Eurostar or Airbnb (collectively, “}^{Released Parties}^{”), as well as their immediate family members or household members (including, but not limited to, their spouse, partner, roommates, children, parents, siblings, grandparents and grandchildren).}^{In addition, Winners undertake to verify and comply with all laws, regulations and health and safety provisions to ensure the use of the Prizes.}^{How to Participate}^{To participate in the Competition you must have an Active Airbnb account. If you don’t have one, you can create an account here. Once you have registered, follow the steps as set out below:}

^{click on the "Apply here" button;}
^{accept these Official Rules; and}
^{complete and submit the application form by providing all the required personal and contact details, submitting the requested text and writing a short submission within the 200 word limit (“}^Application^”).

^{The Entrant can only apply once. By submitting an Application, the Entrant also declares that he/she is at least 18 years old at the time of registration and resides in the United Kingdom.}^{To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter and the Released Organisers shall not be liable for:}^{(i) computer or network problems, with servers and email accounts;}^{(ii) failure to receive any Applications for any reason beyond their reasonable control; or}^{(iii) any other errors of any kind relating to the Competition, whether mechanical, technical, network, printing, typographical, human or otherwise, including administrative errors or problems with the administration of the Competition, the processing or revision of Applications, the announcement of the Winner or the presence in any materials related to the Competition.}^{If the Organisers become aware of any fraud, cheating or similar action taken in connection with the Competition or otherwise, or of any act or omission likely to have an adverse effect on the Competition or its reputation, they reserve the right, in their absolute discretion, without notice and/or reason, to exclude an Entrant from the Competition.}^{Winner Selection}^{The Winner will be selected by a panel of judges (“}^Jury^{”) consisting of three (3) members (“}^Judges^”):

^{Applications will be selected by the Jury and Winners. The decisions of the Judges are final and binding.}^{To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Organisers may, at their discretion, conduct background checks and background checks based on the information provided and any other elements that may be deemed relevant to the Competition entry.}^{Selection Criteria.}^{The potential Winners, along with three (3) runner up reserves (“}^Reserves^{”), will be chosen entirely on merit, based on the criteria set out below (“}^{Selection Criteria}^”):^{1. Adventure: 40 percent (40%): are you a natural adventurer? Show us your passion for adventure.}^{2. Discovery: 40 percent (40%) Are you passionate about discovering new places and experiences? What would you like to discover with Eurostar?}^{3. Sharing: 20 percent (20%) Tell us how you would share your experience and inspire other people to live a similar experience.}^{4. Short written submission is more than 100 words}^{Winners Notification / Announcement}^{The Winners will be selected by 10th March 2025 and will be notified by 17th March 2025 by email to the email address associated with their Airbnb account and indicated in their Application.}^{Failure to comply with such mandatory terms and deadlines may result in, at the discretion of the Organisers, the exclusion of the Winner from the Competition and the selection of another and different Winner (“}^Reserve^{”) for the relevant Prize. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a Winner who has entered on their behalf, the Prize will be awarded to the authorised owner of the email account from which the Winning Entry was submitted, provided that such person meets all eligibility requirements. The Winner's name and/or country / region of residence may be published within thirty (30) days of the close of the Competition, including through social media channels such as Instagram and X / Twitter. Such announcement may include footage of the Winner's Application, or even notification of the win. To this end, the Winner undertakes to stipulate a specific release, as detailed below.}^{Licences and Permits}^{By submitting an Application, Entrants grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, perpetual (i.e. for the duration of the protection afforded by the relevant intellectual property rights), worldwide, irrevocable, fully paid-up and royalty-free licence to transform, edit, modify, reproduce, distribute, sub-license, transmit, publish, communicate to the public, broadcast, exhibit, display or otherwise use their Application, in whole or in part, with or without modification, in any format or medium (including: Internet, any print media distributed in print, billboards, point-of-sale advertising, flyers, brochures, etc.) existing or hereafter developed, for any purpose, including entertainment, promotion, and/or advertising. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Entrant agrees to waive in favour of the Organisers and to refrain from asserting or invoking any so-called moral rights in relation to the Application (including the right to be identified as the creator of the work and the right to object to derogatory treatment of the work). By participating, you warrant and certify the originality of your Application, as set forth above, and that you have all necessary rights and consents, including approval of exchange control where required, to submit your Application and grant each of the Organisers the rights set forth in these Official Rules, as well as to have the consent of any person identified, depicted or mentioned in the Application. In accordance with the provisions of the law of the competent jurisdiction, the Entrant shall indemnify and hold harmless the Organisers from any liability for any violation of these provisions.}^{By entering the Competition, the Entrant agrees to be contacted by the Promoter and their respective agents or partners in relation to the Competition and/or the Prize; agrees to provide documents reasonably requested in support of your Application, including signed releases, consent forms, and eligibility documents as requested; grants the Promoter the right to process your personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy and any additional privacy terms applicable to the Competition in which you are entering; agrees to participate in any publicity subsequent to the Competition and/or the Prize; agrees to be filmed, photographed and otherwise recorded (including voice, image, appearance, performance, etc.) during the Competition and the Prize, including recording any statements about the Competition, the Prize, the Organisers and the activities, experiences and opinions of the Winner and their companion, such recordings may also be used by such Organisers for any promotional or other purposes on an ongoing basis throughout the world. The Winners will also have no rights to such materials.}^{General Disclaimer}^{Except as required by any applicable binding laws, the Prizes will take place as set forth in these Official Rules and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, are offered as is, without any express or implied warranties or conditions. This Competition may be subject to binding local laws and regulations, including tax laws. The Winners are solely responsible for any taxes or contributions applicable to or resulting therefrom in their respective participation in the Prize.}^{By participating in the Competition, the Entrants release the Promoter and Organisers from any liability whatsoever and waives, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, any claim or action arising out of or in connection with the Competition, its administration and/or redemption of the Prize (including any travel or activities related thereto). However, nothing in these Official Rules limits or excludes the liability of any individual or entity for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.}^{Personal data}^{For the purposes of administering the Competition, it is necessary to collect, review, store and share with Eurostar the personal data of the Entrant (e.g., name and email address), in the event that you win. The submission of this personal data by Entrants to the Promoter is therefore necessary for the purpose of participation. If an Entrant does not provide this personal data for the Competition, they will not be able to participate in the Competition or redeem the Prize. The purpose of processing personal data for the Competition is to enable the Promoter to perform its performance and contractual obligations under these Official Rules. The Promoter may share personal data for the Competition with its employees, the Jury and third party suppliers and Eurostar for the purposes of administering the Competition and the Prize, qualifying them from time to time as Data Processors for the same purposes.}^{You hereby acknowledge, agree and confirm that the purpose, nature, period and duration of any use of such personal data is necessary for the purposes of administering the Competition and that such use is therefore a necessary condition of the Competition. You further acknowledge that the Promoter and its contributors may, in their sole discretion, carry out background checks and/or background checks in order to ascertain or confirm your eligibility to enter the Competition and, where applicable, to redeem the Prize.}^{In some circumstances, the Promoter may need to obtain additional personal data from you. In such circumstances, the Organisers or their partners will ask for your consent to the processing of such personal data in accordance with the applicable laws and, where necessary, to the sharing of the same with third-party providers.}^{More information about Airbnb's processing of Personal Data, the data storage periods, and the Winners’ rights with respect to Personal Data can be found in the Privacy Policy, available at https://www.airbnb.com/terms/privacy_policy, which applies to you as an Airbnb user.}^{If you agree to Airbnb sharing your data with Eurostar for their own marketing purposes, you agree that you will be establishing an independent relationship with Eurostar, and Airbnb shall have no liability in relation to thereto. You further acknowledge and understand that Eurostar is an independent party and that any personal data that you agree to be shared with them will be processed in accordance with their own privacy policy. Information about Eurostar’s privacy provisions is available in their privacy policy at}https://www.eurostar.com/uk-en/privacy-policy^.^{General Provisions}^{Applicable law and jurisdiction}^{The Competition and these Official Rules, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and participants can bring legal proceedings in respect of the promotion and these terms and conditions in the English courts. Entrants living in Scotland will also benefit from any mandatory provisions of Scottish law and can bring legal proceedings in respect of the promotion and these terms and conditions in either the Scottish or the English courts.}^{Cancellation, suspension, modification}^{You acknowledge that, subject to applicable law and any approval that may be required, the Promoter may cancel, suspend, modify or terminate the Competition if they deem it necessary or appropriate for reasons or circumstances beyond their reasonable control. Such reasons or circumstances include, but are not limited to, fire, storm, flood, earthquake, explosion, war, invasion, rebellion, sabotage, epidemic, trade disputes, any act or threat of action that endangers air travel, and any act or omission (including law, regulation, disapproval or lack of approval) of any third party (including subcontractors, customers, governments, or government agencies). In addition, you waive and release the Released Parties from any claim or action arising out of, or related to, any such cancellation, suspension, modification or termination, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. No transfer, refund, redemption, substitution, cash equivalent or substitution of the Prize by any Entrant or Winner is also permitted.}^{If any provision or part of a provision of these Official Rules is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable. If such a modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part thereof shall be deemed to have been deleted. Any modification or deletion of any provision or part thereof under this clause shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remainder of these Official Rules. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Promoter may suspend, modify or terminate the Competition if it believes, in its sole discretion, that a malfunction, error, disruption or damage is or will impair the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition; in such event, the Winners will be selected from among the eligible Applications received that have not been affected by the issue, where possible, or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by the Organisers.}
