Programme Terms Liverpool Eurovision Host Promotion

Hosts that qualify for the May Liverpool Eurovision Host Promotion (the “Promotion”) will receive a £50 coupon for use on Airbnb. To qualify, you must:


1. Click on the link for the creation of a new listing in the invitation email to the Promotion or in the dedicated landing page: www.airbnb.com/e/hostinginliverpool

2. Add a new listing in the city of Liverpool (within the following locations: Wirral, St Helens, Knowsley, Halton, Liverpool, Sefton) within the period from 27th February to 16th May 2023. The new listing must also be your first listing as a Host on Airbnb

3. Be one of the first 400 Hosts to register as a new ‘spare-room’ Airbnb Host on or after 27th February 2023

4. Host a Qualifying Stay at your new listing in the city of Liverpool in May 2023.

“Qualifying Stay” means: (i) a stay in a new ‘spare-room’ listing published on Airbnb; (ii) which is located in the city of Liverpool (within the following locations: Wirral, St Helens, Knowsley, Halton, Liverpool, Sefton); (iii) with check-in between 2nd and 16th May 2023; (iv) which isn’t cancelled; and (v) has a minimum booking value of £50 (excl taxes and fees).


The coupon will be sent within 20 days from the end of May 2023, to the email address associated with the Airbnb account of the qualifying Hosts.

Who is the promoter?
The Promotion is promoted by Airbnb Ireland UC, an Irish company with offices at 8 Hanover Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland. For all matters not expressly covered by these programme terms (the “Programme Terms”), Airbnb's terms of service, available at https://www.airbnb.com/terms. All terms that are capitalised and are not defined in these Programme Terms shall have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.

Hosts must have cookies enabled when they click the opt-in button to ensure they correctly receive the related coupons. Information about Airbnb's processing of personal data is contained in our Privacy Policy, available here.

How do the coupons work?
These coupons may be redeemed on Airbnb.com and expire on 31st December 2023. These coupons are single-use, meaning that you will not be entitled to use the same coupon on multiple bookings even if the value of the first booking is below the value of the coupon.

Coupons are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash and may not be applied retroactively or combined with any other coupon or discount code for Airbnb. If you apply the coupon to a booking that you subsequently cancel, any refund owed will not include the coupon amount. You are solely responsible for the correct conservation of the coupon and Airbnb is not responsible if the coupon is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without your permission. Airbnb reserves the right and discretion to any remedy, including denial of the coupon or suspension of your account or bookings, if fraud, tampering, violations of Airbnb's Terms of Service, or technical errors are suspected.

Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Programme Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Irish Law. The laws and regulations in force in Ireland relating to contests and sweepstakes also apply to this Promotion, as provided and granted by the relevant English legislation. If you are acting as a consumer and if mandatory statutory consumer protection regulations in your country of residence contain provisions that are more beneficial for you, such provisions shall apply irrespective of the choice of Irish law. As a consumer, you may bring any judicial proceedings relating to these Programme Terms before the competent court of your place of residence or the competent court of Airbnb's place of business in Ireland. If Airbnb wishes to enforce any of its rights against you as a consumer, we may do so only in the courts of the jurisdiction in which you are a resident. If you are acting as a business, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

Modification of these Programme Terms
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Airbnb may suspend, modify, or terminate the Promotion if the safety, fairness, integrity, or proper performance of the Promotion is at risk, taking care not to infringe on the rights of Hosts taking part of this Promotion and providing reasonable notice where possible. If anomalies are found in relation to the participation of a Host in connection with the Promotion, Airbnb reserves the right to conduct all necessary checks to verify the fairness and correctness of said participation.
