Homely room in leafy Ealing.

Enjoy 'village life' in our capital city! If you're looking for a quiet, relaxed homestay, in a lovely area of West London, just a 15 minute walk to the tube, this is the choice for you! We live in a cul-de-sac in Pitshanger Village, North Ealing, just minutes from the delightful Pitshanger Lane shopping street on the E2 and E9 bus routes and a 10-15 minute walk to Ealing Broadway station. Oxford Street and Notting Hill are 28 and 20 minutes by tube respectively.I have lived in London all my life and will be happy to give you any information and advice you need. If you wish to improve your English, I may also be able to give you English lessons, as that is my area of expertise The room features a very comfortable single bed with new IKEA mattress, a spacious chest of drawers, a built-in wardrobe plus bookcase and stereo/cds if you want to use them. For a second guest a separate bed can be added to the room at an additional cost. There is a small desk for a laptop with a chair and lamp. We must insist on NON-SMOKERS! Check-in is after 16:00 Mon - Fri and after 14:00 Sat - Sun. There is a TV with 122 channels in the room and full wireless internet access plus the option of free parking, should you need it. Breakfast is continental, cereal, etc., and you will be able to store food and drink in the fridge. Due to unfortunate experiences with past guests, the kitchen is not available for cooking. (We are no longer covered by insurance.) Guests are welcome to use cutlery and crockery for food brought in from outside.The bathroom has a comfortable shower. I speak French and German fluently and I look forward to hosting you and introducing you to our great city and our beautiful local area.

Self-contained Annex Studio Flat

The accommodation consists of a double bedroom with French doors opening onto a nice big garden. There is a fully fitted kitchen and a small bathroom with walk-in shower. Broadband, TV, fridge, washing machine and drier are all included. It is about 50 yards from Egham station which has regular trains to London, the journey taking about 40 minutes. The train goes to Waterloo Station which is very close to the London Eye and Westminster, with Buckingham Palace, St James Park, Trafalgar Square a short walk away. Heathrow Airport is 5 or 6 miles away. Egham is a small town, but it has some historic interest in that the Magna Carta was signed at Runnymede down the road by the river in 1215. Not far away is Windsor castle and Eton (where princes William and Harry, and David Cameron went to school). There is also some lovely countryside around and lovely walks.

This flat offers a comfortable and cosy stay in a fantastic residential neighbourhood. It is situated around the corner from the amenities of Fauconberg Road, including Budgens and Grove Park Deli. It has brilliant transport links: Chiswick Station & Gunnersbury Station (10 min walk) and Heathrow (20 min drive). It's walking distance from Chiswick High Road, Chiswick Business Park, Chiswick House, and the River Thames - a beautiful riverside spot with historic pubs & great for a stroll/run.

Situated in a quiet cul de sac, Burnside Close, our guest annex with driveway parking is accessed from the rear via our side gate, (Keys obtained from adjacent key safe). Guests can enjoy shared use of back garden. Twickenham Stadium is less than 10 minutes walk away. Central London is just 25 mins away by express train from Twickenham station, (13 mins walk). Asda supermarket with an ATM is just 5 mins walk away at Ivybridge Retail Park.
