　We renovated part of a house in Ichijodani to be exclusively for private lodging. 　It is conveniently located for walking around Ichinotani, with nearby Asaga Kasuga Shrine, which was the Asakura family's war victory prayer place, the Asakura family ruins of Shimosakado, the Asakura family ruins museum and JR Ichinotani station, the Asakura family ruins Karamon, and the restored street. There is a firefly spot nearby, and you can also find them on the premises. 　There is also good access to major tourist destinations in Fukui Prefecture, such as the Dinosaur Museum, Ski Jam Katsuyama, Eihei-ji Temple, Tojinbo, Shibamasa, and the Sand Dome. 　There are no restaurants, supermarkets, or drug stores nearby. The convenience store is also 2.5 km away. 　There is a moss garden on the premises and a lawn that is not well maintained, but if the timing is right, you can enjoy a private cherry blossom viewing and snow play on the premises. 　Because it is a rural area, there are insects and small animals around the facility and sometimes in the room. If you cannot tolerate encountering these, please refrain from booking. 　The capacity is 4 people, but it feels quite small for 4 adults. 　No smoking in the facility, including the toilet, bathroom, and under the kitchen ventilation fan. This is an oceanfront private villa with the Sea of Japan in front of you. Adjacent to Ayukawa Beach, you can enjoy the blue sea during the day, the sunset on the horizon in the evening, and the fishing lights and starry sky at night.It is a special location where you can feel the Sea of Japan, which changes its appearance every season, at any time during your stay. The building uses solid cedar wood for all ceilings, floors and walls. The scent and warmth of the wood creates an extraordinary space where you can relax and escape from everyday life.You can also enjoy the sea and sunset from the bath, and spend a luxurious time while soaking in the bathtub. The inn is a two-story private building. It has 4 single beds on the 1st floor and 1 double bed on the 2nd floor, and can accommodate up to 6 guests. There is also a terrace overlooking the sea, which is ideal for morning coffee or a quiet evening. The surrounding area is one of the best fishing spots on the Echizen coast. A fishing boat is departing from Ayukawa Fishing Port in front of you, so it is also recommended for a stay for the purpose of fishing. We also run the Seaside Café Maare, which is a 3-minute drive away, where you can enjoy a BBQ without having to bring anything. Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.
