Here you can relax indoors or outdoors, and maybe have a barbecue meal on one of our terraces with the chickens and ducks. The river Sokna flows right past the garden. Here the kids can swim, and we have fishing rights for salmon here. Ruggesteinen and Linepollen swimming area with sand volleyball court is a 2-minute drive from our house. 5 min drive to KNA Raceway.

Lille Presteskjær Lighthouse

Lighthouse from 1895 with housing and apartment in the tower itself. The building is established on a reef at the end of Rekefjord. Original furniture from the time when the lighthouse keepers and their families lived in the lighthouse. The lighthouse has a kitchen, bathroom and toilet, living room, storage rooms, atrium with panoramic views, 3 bedrooms and a small kitchen that has been converted into an extra bedroom. There is also a boat garage attached to the lighthouse, this is decorated for outdoor fun and simple dining.

Nice small and cozy patio to enjoy. Only 5 minutes walk to Flekkefjord city center and Alti center. It is also close to restaurants and cultural/outdoor activities. Welcome to Fjellro! Here you can get an overnight stay in the scenic area of Dirdal with an unforgettable view. With only a few meters to the fjord, an almost has the experience of sleeping in the water. All amenities are available either in the tiny house or in the basement of the shop Dirdalstraen Gardsutsalg nearby. The farm shop was named Norway's best farm shop in 2023 and 2025 and is a small attraction in itself. Right next door you will find a sauna that can be booked with equally good views.

Benedikte's house on architect-designed Svindland farm

Benedikte House is located about ten minutes drive from Egersund city center and about five minutes from E39. We have tried to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one who lived in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the edge of the yard at Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and quiet. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock couple that walk freely. The house is very modern and well equipped.

The boathouse is brand new and part of the seaside house environment towards Soknasundet. There is a jetty with fishing opportunities. Buildings and furniture are made by the renowned architect Espen Surnevik. If you come by boat there is plenty of room for the boat at the jetty. The boathouse is part of Sokn Gard (see fb) which has many animals you can visit, and the farm has 5 km of hiking trails.

Great apartment with a view in the Lysefjord view. Good starting point for walks in the area. Grocery store a few meters from the apartment. Possibility of renting a boat and kayak. 15 km to Preikestolen, Kjerag 1 hour boat ride away. In addition, there are many great mountain hikes close to the apartment.
