the cabin is in the middle of the forest and very calm and quiet, it was incredibly cozy inside as the outside, we did not take the time and try out the stomp since it takes so long and fill up and get it warm, this is an amazing family cottage

A very cute cabin just outside of Oslo, and also close to airport. Easy to operate everything in the house. Very peaceful and quiet and a perfect getaway. David is very helpful and it's very much appreciated.

We had an excellent time on our Christmas stay, the cabin is beautiful and was decorated wonderfully festive. It's a very peaceful location and great for a family stay, even with young children. Mona went the extra mile to ensure we had to bring as little as possible. would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful few days!! Lise is a great hostess! We were very warmly welcomed and she showed us everything. The cabin is perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature and is equipped with everything you need. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the lake and the forest. It was also especially great that we could even use the boat, fireplace and sauna.

The cabin might lack exterior beauty. Although it has a Norwegian charm. But the inside makes up for it and the location is beautiful. The forest and surrounding nature gets undersold in the pictures. I have seen many forests but this one Is a gem. There are also great fishing opportunities nearby for those interested! Caught myself a PR trout! The long gravel road up to the cabin is pretty bumby and worn, but serves some amazing views and serene forest vibes! On the map it might look like you are in the middle of a densly packed cabin field. I was slightly worried that it would feel exposed. But when I arrived at the cabin I saw that you can't see a single other cabin from the front porch. So no worries. It feel private :) Highly recommend booking a stay at Storefri for a true forest cabin feel despite not being far from the city.

Cosy old fashioned cabin in the countryside. Host had lit the fireplace and received us on arrival giving all necessary instructions. Dogs were allowed and given access to a fenced dog park on the property where they could run and play freely 😃 Can absolutely recommend this place❤️

Very nice place, cozy. We felt at home here. Walking distance to the center of Hamar, in nice weather. We would be happy to come back here, in the future.

We had an absolutely magical weekend at this incredibly charming cabin. Here everything was done down to the last detail – great, functional and cozy. We immediately felt at home and the atmosphere was just as warm and warm as you want on a cabin trip. On Friday night we were visited by Mikkel Rev himself, who stopped by and gave us the ultimate "mid-land"feeling. He greeted nicely goodnight. The weather also played on teams, and gave us sunny days and starry nights. Perfect conditions for both indoor and outdoor fun! Thank you for us, Havrebakken – we will be back for sure! 🦊🌲☀️

Absolutely perfect and beautiful. Fabulous location near a small lake. Lovely and quiet with stunning views. So easy to get too from Oslo airport even in the snow! Warm, cosy and had everything we needed. Such stunning. I can’t recommend this place enough Host was always responsive and even got shopping in for as arriving over new year. A wonderful family holiday we look forward to coming back

We had a lovely stay at Mjøsli - this cabin is perfect for department collection for a large bunch. The cabin is sheltered, and has an absolutely stunning view. The cabin has all the amenities and the beds were even prepared when we arrived. It was easy to connect to a TV screen to show presentations, and plenty of space for cooking, eating, and socializing, both outside and inside. Gunnar as a host made our stay great, he was proactive and followed us up both before and during our stay, always responding quickly if we had any questions. We are looking to return next year!

We had a fantastic 5-night stay at this cabin as a family of 5 and could happily have stayed for longer still. The view out onto the lake is truly fantastic and seemed to get better each morning we woke up to it! The property is finished to a high standard and is at least as good as the pictures, if not better - very warm inside too; and it otherwise had everything we needed. The place is quite remote but the local grocery delivery service to your door works really well - thanks to the hosts for flagging it! - and there are beautiful walks into surrounding hills and forests right where you are. Jacuzzi and sauna both worked very well so you have that mini spa experience on site too. We will genuinely consider a return trip some time and will recommend to friends and family too.

Ellen was very responsive and helpful. In fact she replied immediately to any requests and questions. Her cabin was welcoming, homely and spotlessly clean. She had added lots of thoughtful touches candles were already in the holders, the fire pit already had logs in it, there were games both inside and outside and throws to keep us cosy! The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The garden leading into the woods was absolutely beautiful and a real treat with seating in lots of areas. The view of the lake was breathtaking even in the fog and low cloud! In the garden we spotted lots of wildlife including a nuthatch on the bird table and a woodpecker in a nearby tree. Close to Oslo but we preferred to explore Hamar and Lillehamar. Highly recommended and we would love to return. Our only regret is the cabin is too far from our home to use regularly. Peaceful, welcoming, tranquil and comfortable! A perfect cabin retreat!

This is the perfect cabin if you are going to arrange something for a larger group! We rented the cabin for a bachelor party and on this plot it is only the imagination that sets limits for activities. Henning had earned 10 stars on communication: very service minded and provides good assistance with all kinds of questions. We rented a rush bus from Oslo and took a taxi to the train station back home, very good solution for bachelorette parties!

We had a nice experience, with host and a wonderful stay in the cabin! Nice place, good with beds and a nice place to be with family!
