— ABOUT THE CABIN — We were inspired by The Thief in Oslo. It took two years to build. The result is Tyven — an 80 sqm boutique cabin with a large window overlooking Mjøsa — Norway's largest lake — from the kitchen. Featured in National Geographic Traveller. Private jacuzzi, two full bathrooms, and peace and privacy in Mjøsa's natural surroundings. Kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom on the first floor — living room and two bedrooms on the lower floor. Well thought out down to the last detail, 30 minutes from Gardermoen.

Forget your worries at this spacious and peaceful place. You can pack your bag and go on long walks on marked hiking trails right from the farm, in summer and winter. It's a 5-minute drive by car to Eidsvoll town centre with shops and a railway station, where it's an 8-minute train ride to Oslo Airport, or a 37-minute train ride to Oslo or Hamar, and many great attractions. Fantastic location with unobstructed views of Norway's largest lake, Mjøsa. 30 minutes from Oslo Airport, Gardermoen and approx. 50 minutes from Oslo city center. You sleep in the living room (there is no separate bedroom), where there is a double bed. Stabburet is part of a farm that has been significantly upgraded in recent years and offers accommodation, participation in the cultivation of vegetables. Events are held from time to time. Great hiking areas. Rental of 2 electric bicycles and 2 kayaks.
