Bayou Guesthouse! - Fenced yard & lots of parking

Whether you’re passing through or staying in the area for a bit, this is the place for you! Enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located Bossier City guesthouse. Nestled in the Shady Grove neighborhood with access to the neighborhood library, community center and Mike Woods Memorial park (30-acre park featuring a pool, playgrounds, pavilions, picnic areas, tennis courts, and a disc golf). Close to Barksdale Air Force Base, Brookshire Grocery Arena, restaurants, and a Walmart.

The Red House on Cross Lake

This is a Cross Lake cabin that we renovated from an old catfish restaurant built in the early 1930's. We call it the RED HOUSE. There are three cabins on the property that we also use for visiting family and friends. We live on the property behind the houses and we all use the property and pier. Guest also have use of the pier/boat house. The house is at the end of the road on the lake. Although family also uses the property the cabin is quiet and private with a great view of the open lake.

Waterfront - The Red Camp at Lake Bistineau

About 45 minutes from Shreveport/Bossier City, our lake house is located on a quiet curve of Lake Bistineau, known for its Spanish Moss-draped cypress trees and lovely sunsets. Please note that the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries has begun the annual drawdown to try to control the giant Sylvania weed. We can always see water from our property, but the water’s edge is out past the trees. Great for a walk in the lakebed! also, please check out our neighboring property, Shades of Blue!
