Holiday rentals with a kayak in Elmore County

The house is absolutely beautifully decorated! It is in a peaceful location and less than 15 min away from Russell Crossroads. The beds were dreamy and it was impeccably clean. Would be fun for three couples (one would have to take the bunk room), or a family with responsible kids. Would recommend but probably wouldn't take small children there as I would be afraid they would mess something up! I also wish that the fireplaces were working (they might have been but they didn't look used and we didn't ask!) as we rented in December and it would have been cozy to build a fire. Overall great stay and very romantic and cozy in winter.

We loved our stay at the lake house. The space was great. The master was upstairs and the living space open. All other bedrooms downstairs. They had all sorts of games and water toys to enjoy the lake. Check in was easy and the owner was great at responding as well as their property manager. The kitchen was well equipped too. We had an amazing girls retreat and will def be back to visit their lake house again. Thanks Carla for being a great host!

It was a lovely home, we really enjoyed the game room and the pool. If we had been able to bring our boat, we would’ve all enjoyed the lake access more. I believe the house runs off well water, so it had a smell to it but it was clean water! If you’re not used to something like that, it’ll be a shock to you like it was me lol. Thomas and his wife are great hosts and we really enjoyed our stay. The front porch has a great view of the lake and it was so peaceful.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cabin in the Cove and our kind host, Laura. We were in town for our daughters graduation from Auburn. The location and home were perfect for our weekend celebration. The home is situated on a private and quiet cove with friendly neighbors. The lot is flat with a very short walk to the lake and large dock. The home has every amenity needed. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds and linens, as well as an amazing screened in porch with a wonderful view. We will be back!

This home was great. My family spent thanksgiving here and it was just like we were home. Will stay again!

Mistie’s place is just as described. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. My family were traveling to attend my OTS graduation and expressed wanting to revisit the property. It is approximately 40mins from Maxwell AFB. Nice easy drive with no traffic. The driveway is a little steep, but extremely manageable. There are a ton of board games to play. My niece and nephews throughly enjoyed the property as well, but it is definitely a great location for adults to hang and unwind.

This home was everything my family could have needed. Beautiful backyard on the lake. I reached out to the property managers for something I personally needed and they went above and beyond more than I could have expected. These guys made sure my trip was everything we could have wanted and I truly appreciate it.

The cabin was rented for family coming in from out of State to attend a wedding. Since the children were on spring break that week we decided to take advantage and rent a cabin on the lake. The location was convenient to the wedding venue. We spent the week with our boats out, enjoying the water, fishing and the waterfall. The kids enjoyed the bonfire and making s’mores. The cabin was beautiful and clean. There was plenty of sleeping arrangements for everyone and bathrooms. The kitchen was fully stocked so we did a lot of cooking in the cabin. I would highly recommend this cabin for any other family who enjoys the water and outdoor fun.

First of all, the place was way cuter in person than in the photos. The decor made it feel very homey and inviting. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, which made the porch and extremely inviting place to sit, especially in the mornings and evenings. The Lake Martin area is beautiful and we rented a pontoon from Anchor Bay Marina, which is pretty close. The staff there was awesome as well. The Social next door to the marina had music and pretty good bar food. Annamarie was an awesome host. She was always available and proactive for any concern, which was mainly hers to make sure we were having a good time! We loved our time here and hope to be back! Thank you so much, Kathy and Eric

Iv had stayed on lake Jordan 6 to 7 times . Ray place is amazing . He and his wife are very friendly and helpful. My # 1 worker caught his first fish off his dock . Ray lent him a cane pole . This is a beautiful place with A wonderful Host . i recommend staying here .

Our 5 night stay was great. Plenty of room for my 12 family members. The kitchen was wonderful. It accommodates all our needs. Plenty of bed/sleeping space for everyone. I would highly recommend this location.

Great stay on a beautiful, quiet slough on Lake Martin. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our group of 6. Easy access to Anchor Bay Marina for our pontoon rental. The kids enjoyed using the kayaks at the house for paddling around. It's a quick 5-minute drive to Dollar General for anything you may have forgotten. We would definitely book again!

There aren’t enough words to describe how wonderful our stay was — it ended up being so lovely that we added an extra night because we simply couldn’t bring ourselves to leave! Gina is not only communicative and helpful, but genuinely kind and it shows! From thoughtful details (small container of coffee to get you started, makeup towels, coloring books - we didn’t travel with children but what a nice touch) to a beautiful setting, we couldn’t have asked for more! The serene location on the lake was quiet and beautiful but we also appreciated the contemporary comforts of wi-fi and a smart tv so that we could watch a little football after spending our day out in nature. The best of both worlds! Thank you for a wonderful stay and we look forward to coming back to visit again soon!!!

Angela’s place was beautiful and lake Jordan was so peaceful! We had everything we needed and mostly stayed in and grilled. One night we went to the local Mexican restaurant and it was great. The beds were super comfortable and we had plenty of room for the 4 of us. Look forward to staying again soon!
