Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute, the "Secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Fabulous round house on the west coast of Scotland

The DRUM at Dunmore is a stunning elliptical house with a sloping roof and high ceilings, clad in charred larch with orange window frames and painted wooden floors. Designed by architect Roderick James and built by a crack team of smashing local chaps, the Drum is a perfect bolt hole for two. It has a wood burning stove and a big squashy velvet sofa, floor to ceiling triple glazed windows and is nestled in woodland on a small estate (complete with castle) and just moments from the sea.
