It is about 4 km to wonderful Gräfsnäs with its castle ruins, restaurant and swimming area. There are many opportunities for walks, perhaps to the forests in the surroundings, or to Erska to try the disc golf course.

It is about 65 km (about 1 hour by car) to Gothenburg, 30 km to Trollhättan and 25 km to the coffee town of Alingsås. You can walk to the forest with berries and mushrooms. Swimming is available in Lake Anten, at Gräfsnäs 5 km away. By car, you can also easily reach nature reserves in the forests of Risveden.

Sista onsdagen varje månad anordnas Nossebro Marknad som är 120 år gammal och är Sveriges äldsta och största månadsmarknad med sina 500 marknadsplatser.

If you like dogs, cats and chickens, there is the opportunity to visit our nice animals that live with us, the host couple, in the house next to the cottage. Skara Summerland can be found only 50 minutes from the cottage, Liseberg in Gothenburg an hour away and also Borås Zoo within an hour's drive.

There are plenty of beautiful lakes nearby. Of course, there is a lot of wildlife to spot in our garden.
