The Surf Sanctuary retreat is minutes away from remote beaches and redwoods. Please note: Redwood Park is 30 minutes away. The sanctuary is a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom guest house with a full kitchen and bathroom. We are located within a 5 minute drive to the beach, and 30 minutes away from Redwood State and National Parks. Perfect launch location for hiking, surfing, cycling and enjoying this amazing place. Enjoy our beautiful quiet space for relaxation and renewal. The space is shoe and scent free.

Blue Lake Sanctuary

Surrounded by pastures, it's a short walk to the Mad River for swims and walks. The Mad River Brewery is less than a mile up the road. Excellent mountain biking is 1 mile away. In a 15 minute drive you can find the hip town of Arcata, surrounded by redwoods and hiking as well as a majestic coastline. Sundays 10 am to noon we host a family friendly ecstatic dance in the studio adjacent to the apartment. Expect music at that time. Come join us! Public Yoga classes are Tuesday & Saturday am.

From the claw foot tub to bathe in, to the fire pit and outdoor patio to lounge outside, just about anyone will enjoy the use of this home for their vacation or work trip. Only 1 mile from Old Town Eureka, and a quick 7 mile drive into Arcata, you can be just about anywhere in Humboldt County within minutes!

Cocooned by Redwoods, Sitka Spruce and Huckleberries. A ladder leads you to the cozy sleeping loft, where you can gaze at the stars through the two huge skylights. Just down the steps across the OUTDOOR LIVING ROOM, step into the "Shower Grotto", inside an Old Growth Redwood Stump with a Rain Shower.

Excellent location with views of the redwood forest. Our bungalow is fully equipped. Come home with your farmer's market bounty and make use of the well-stocked kitchen or balcony grill. Get cozy in the living room at the push of a button with the gas fireplace and Smart TV. Sleep soundly on either the king or queen-sized bed. If you have extra people I can provide an air mattress. Walk from your door to Cal Poly Humboldt, the Arcata Plaza, and Shay Park. A wonderful home base.

Enjoy the early morning (and sometimes all day) sounds of ducks, geese, turkeys and cattle . Surrounded by acres of Redwood trees, no street lights, and lots of wildlife. Enjoy the stars from the patio in redwood rocking chairs. The cottage has Roku Smart TV, NETFLIX, WIFI & all basic bath & kitchen essentials.

A large, open modern, one bedroom studio apartment on the ground floor of a Victorian. There's a stream of activity on the street, walking and biking. It's a swell, safe neighborhood with professors, students, families. Outside the apartment door you may enjoy coffee or a cocktail at the garden table. the Kitchen is complete and part of the living room which works well with the island, sofa, lounge chair, and kitchen table with chairs.
