We are a seriously chill out,relax and switch off site with NO electricity but plenty of comforts to aid the relaxation!

This new (10/2025) triangular cottage is located on the shore of a small lake just a 20-minute drive from the center of Tampere, but in the middle of a large wooded plot, it feels like you are in the middle of the wilderness. Wake up to the birds singing, enjoy your morning coffee on the jetty and watch the mist rise from the water. Take a hiking or mountain bike trip in a nearby nature park or try your luck at fishing. Evening sauna, hot tub, fireplace and starry sky crown the day.

Borgopetra – Casa degli Orti

The Casa degli Orti is located inside the ancient Baglio di Borgopetra, built in the 1700s, lovingly restored and since then open to hospitality. Inside the property there are 3 other apartments of different sizes, all tastefully furnished with family furniture and souvenirs from around the world, arranged around the internal courtyard. The windows of the houses overlook the vegetable garden and the garden, with cascades of geraniums, jasmine, century-old oleanders and the orchard.

The Tiny House

Rustic Shepherd's hut set in its own 5 acre field. Very child and dog friendly, all welcome! The Tiny House is well insulated and with its wood burning stove is lovely and toasty during winter months. Unlimited wood available. The bathroom is located directly behind the hut, where there is a shower and a composting toilet. This is attended to daily. Rural and peaceful location but also situated close to many amenities, including delightful pubs and restaurants.
