Welcome to Monkerai! We live on a medium sized farm which occupies its very own little valley, completely surrounded by hills which border the property. Come and stay in our cute little one bedroom cottage for a relaxing farmstay. On our farm we have a little over 100 cattle, and are in the process of establishing a permaculture garden and orchards. There are several kilometres worth of hiking to be done within our property, plus easy access to the lower Barrington Tops and the Monkerai Valley.
The cottage is self-contained with a bathroom and a kitchen. We have done the renovations ourselves, so we like to think there are plenty of nice touches which align with the rest of the property. Not exactly fancy, but definitely practical and cosy.
The Monkerai Valley is a quite and picturesque place, with plenty of swimming holes in the Karuah River. We like to go cycling on the dirt roads throughout the valley, riding loops of anything from 20-50km with virtually no traffic.
