I have been teaching about and setting up community currencies on the blockchain for the past two and half years in Kwanagware. I was born in Kibera line saba and raised in mukuru kayaba a slum just like any other and with the same challenges and everyday struggle for survival. You be introduced to a world of barter exchange where the poorest of the poor are using blockchain tokens to survive. You will see schools, cooperatives, self help groups, shops, clinics and households that are using blockchain based community currencies daily to survive. What I’ll provide

Tickets
You will receive 1000 Blockchain tokens to use on a loaned phone that you can use to support the local community and purchase school fees or personal items. If you have a Kenyan line Safaricom or Airtel you can own the tokens yourself and take some back with you!

Where you'll be

You will visit schools where parents use community currencies for fees to make sure that their kids remain in school and teachers uses the currency back in the community through local businesses run by parents, like: grocery and shops. maize mills,carpenters, waterpoints and hotels which all of them uses community currencies to meets there daily basic needs. In each place you will witness and can be part of the creation of a currency commons!
