What you'll do
My approach to tours is all about intimacy and companionship, which is what makes them so enjoyable and memorable! For me, giving tours is as much about human connection, as it is about experiencing a city. Thus, I only give private tours and begin by focusing on the guests to learn a bit about them and what their interests are. I then create a custom tour that will carter to their interests. Given that my guests are generally new to a city, I do not rely on their judgment of what they would like to see. Rather, I learn about them and come up with an experience that I hope will give them a unique insight to what it’s like to live in this lovely city I call home. I am no historian and do not pretend to be one. The experience I provide is are about exploring cool hidden locations, experiencing unique venues and having a fun and memorable time. During the tour we will explore the architectural variety among the different districts and experience the vibrant art scene. You will get a feel for the social and ethnic makeup of the city and see both the beautiful and the ugly of it. Along the way, we will stop for a coffee, lunch and/or a drink and taste various ethnic foods. I will also help you make recommendations for the remainder of your stay and getting you reservations for the most popular restaurants and clubs.
I am a very multifaceted individual that grew up in France, Slovakia, and Austria. I love meeting people and sharing my passion for the little pleasures in life. I moved to Montreal in 2011 to study aerospace engineering, and fell in love with the city. I began giving tours in 2014 to finance my studies and to share this lovely city with visitors! I have since graduated from my studies, but I continue to give tours. Yes, I love it that much! :) I provide tours in English, German and French, and before Airbnb experiences, I used to organize them through Lokafy, where I am the most requested guide in Montreal with only 5 star ratings. My mother is a culinary artist that specializes in organic, healthy desserts. I was fortunate enough to grow up helping her in the kitchen and have been developing my passion and palette ever since!

Where you'll be
The tours I give are personalized, and as such, it is difficult to provide an itinerary. That being said, most of my tours take place on Mt. Royal, McGill Campus, the Plateau, and the Old Port. During the tours, we will be stopping at delicious bakeries, ice cream parlors, takeaway restaurants, breweries and/or cafes.
Things to keep in mind

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside the Airbnb website or app.
Up to 6 guests aged 6 and up can attend.
Given that most of our commuting will be done by foot, I prefer when my guests are dressed comfortably and wearing good walking shoes. I also suggest bring some water and basic accessories. I have a service dog named Rusty that can accompany us upon request.
