What you'll do

The Milky Way galaxy is a barred spiral galaxy that contains the solar system. The diameter ranges from 100,000 light years to 180,000 light years. There are approximately 100 billion to 400 billion stars, and possibly 100 billion planets. The solar system is about 26,000 light-years away from the center of the Milky Way, on the inner edge of the spiral arm known as the Orion’s arm with dense gas and dust. In the position of the sun, the revolution period is approximately 240 million years. From the earth, because it is viewed from the inside of the disc-shaped structure, the Milky Way appears as a band around the celestial sphere.

Hawaii is one of the best starry sky observation sites in the world. As a photographer and private tour guide, without going to the Big Island and Maui, I can also show you the best stargazing spots on Oahu, and I can also take pictures worthy of your trip! As an astronomy enthusiast, I can take you to find the brightest stars in the night sky and your constellations, watch meteors pierce the sky, and feel the vastness of the universe and the insignificance of human ignorance!

For a privatet our, a minimum booking of 2 people, 3 to 7 people will enjoy the group price.

Duration: 4 hours, 2 hours' drive from Waikiki to the stargazing location, 2 hours for stargazing and taking photos.

Note: It may be temporarily rescheduled due to weather! The departure time of the itinerary will be different in different seasons. The departure time in summer is 6:00PM, and the departure time in winter is 7:00PM. The departure time of the trip may also be adjusted according to the time and brightness of the moon.

Please contact me before booking. Thank you!
Other things to note
1. In different seasons, the departure time of the itinerary will be different. The departure time in summer is 7 pm, and the departure time in winter is 6pm. The departure time of the trip may also be adjusted according to the time and brightness of the moon.
2. Earth's rotation and Orbital revolution, At different time periods at night and under different light conditions, the scenery presented by the starry sky will be different. Summer and autumn are the best seasons for viewing the Milky Way in the Northern Hemisphere. It should be noted that the Milky Way is not obvious in the night sky in winter and spring.
2. Because the stargazing itinerary will be affected by weather and other reasons, it may be temporarily rescheduled according to the weather and other conditions; it is recommended that you leave as many nights as possible during your stay on Oahu to prepare for rescheduling.
3. It is recommended to wear sports shoes and bring a jacket in case it is sometimes windy and cold at night; if you need to take photos under the starry sky and the Milky Way, try not to wear skirts and other clothes that will flow when the wind is blowing.
