We have our own alcoholic cider!
I am a local born and raised and my family has been farming apples for over 100 years in the community. We run a 150 acre apple farm in the Town of the Blue Mountains with over 11 varieties of apples that we sell to farmers markets, and grocery stores. We win 1st prize for many of our varieties at the Royal Winter fair, year after year. I am passionate about promoting agriculture and educating the public on farming and how food gets to your plate. The world has become disconnected from the producers of life's essential survival items (food), and my goal is to reconnect the people to their food source. Where you'll be
Our farm is located in Clarksburg, which farmers refer to as the apple capital of Canada. We will be walking through the orchard on the private property.
