What you'll do

Our practice will take place in a quiet corner of Lumphini Park, right in the center of Bangkok. We will start the session with meditation and Pranayama (breathing exercises), moving on to asana flows.
During the retreat, we will be performing healing and strengthening exercises. Thanks to the small size of the class, the class can be tailored to individual needs and skills. Yogis of all levels are welcome to join!
The time of the yoga practice is approximately 90 minutes. We will finish the session with relaxation and time to enjoy some herbal tea together.

Yoga helps you learn about your body, how to fix posture, balance and pains, while making you stronger. It is not a competitive practice, and it should be lived as a tool for improving yourself inside and out.

Other things to note
Don't worry if you are a newbie or an advanced practitioner. We will adapt classes to the needs of participants. Please plan on being at least 5 minutes early to get set up for class. Please let me know if you have any injuries prior to practicing.

Hello, my name is Vipada, but everyone calls me Gift. I was born in Thailand and lived for many years in the US. I am a certified yoga teacher (RYT-200) with a great passion for yoga and over 5 years of experience. My yoga practice has been in hot Bikram yoga, Vinyasa Flows, Hot Fusion, and Hatha. I love traveling and exploring nature. I wish for the participants in my course to experience the positive energy of yoga on mind, body and spirit in the green atmosphere of Lumphini park.

Where you'll be

Lumphini Park is the largest and most iconic park in Bangkok. This park has beautiful nature and fresh air, with open green spaces and trees for shelter. Lumphini Park is among the best places to escape the hectic urban traffic of Bangkok. It is very easy to reach by BTS Skytrain (Saladaeng Station) and MRT subway (Silom Station).

Yoga in the Lumphini park was great. I felt at ease immediately. The park was wonderful, with a great atmosphere and nice views. The time went by really quick. The yoga practice and breathing exercises were just what I needed. I'll be back.

Amazing yoga, stunning surrendings, welcoming and friendly atmosphere. If you are in Bangkok deffintily try this activity. It's just awesome! Grils are very proffesional, prepared, friendly and experienced.

A real enjoyable time near the river in the park early morning. I was watching the sunrise and hearing birds singing while doing the yoga. I felt great after the class and had a pleasant talk and enjoyed tea and banana with Gift and Sung after yoga. Highly recommended!

I don’t have a lot of yoga experience but Vipada was a super great host for all skill types! The park was beautiful and serene right by the lake. We were even visited by a local park kitty.
