What you'll do

In this fun and very hands-on class, you will learn and get hands-on with making ramen noodles from scratch, vegan-friendly soy miso ramen broth from scratch, and making gyoza wrappers and fillings from scratch, as well.

You won't miss out on any part of the cooking process, as we will prepare everything together.

First, you will make your own homemade gyoza wrappers, and roll them out.

We will make the filling, and fill and pleat our homemade gyoza dumplings.

Then you will get to mix, roll out, and cut your own ramen noodles.

Finally, we will make the soup together, and enjoy our ramen with delicious seasonal toppings.

We love private parties and have done team building for employees of Airbnb, Lyft, AppDynamics, Facebook, and more!
Other things to note
This whole class is vegan- and vegetarian-friendly—however, it is very delicious for meat-eaters, too. Please specify if you would like a ramen egg, so that I can prepare one for you.

Meet your host, Kaori

Kaori's Kitchen is the culmination of the love my mother and I have for cooking Japanese food. Growing up as a hapa—half-Japanese—woman in the Bay Area, I was surrounded by my mother's Japanese home cooking. When I learned that my grandmother owned her own ramen shop in Fukushima, Japan, I decided to dive deeper into my culinary heritage. My mother and I have been teaching ramen and mochi rice cake classes throughout the Bay Area.
