What you'll do
The experience will start in Pueblo Libre; one of the most historic, but not often presented, parts of Lima in front of which once was the home of the libertador. After that, we'll go by one of the most emblematic Pisco(Peru's national spirit) producers of the country to then head over a local market where you'll get to know the product used in Peruvian gastronomy. Finally, we'll head over my home to cook together some of the typical Peruvian dishes while we enjoy some drinks, good music, history and personal experiences.
- Identity verified
I'm a chef with a passion for sharing the richness of Peruvian gastronomy as well as my experiences and lessons gathered throughout almost 20 years in kitchens in Peru and the USA. After many years I decided to start my own business and give myself the opportunity to offer a unique and personal experience to everyone who visits Peru.
Where you'll be
Plaza Bolivar in Pueblo Libre is located in front of the Museum of Anthropology and home of the libertador San Martin. After that, we'll visit the historic Queirolo tabern where you'll get to know a bit of the history of Pisco and shop for some if you'd like. The Magdalena's market is where I do my shopping because of it's great variety of fresh quality products.
