What you'll do

Meet Terry Corr or Jon Monsoon, Your qualified Marine Conservationists and Sea Kayak guides at our Shark Warrior Adventure Centre at Seaforth beach, receiving an interactive presentation. You will receive a safety briefing before jumping into our comfortable sea kayaks, and head out into the big blue. Rounding the corner, you will be faced by incredible African Penguins at Boulders Beach. Paddling is easy, at your own pace and we reach the remote Windmill beach, where we spend time in the sun swimming. On our return journey, we head out to Ark rock to visit playful cape fur seals. We paddle back to our centre to complete our experience. An awesome adventure that is responsible, the best way to meet the Penguins, learn more about sharks, and the wonderful creatures that inhabit the unique kelp forests.

Couldn’t recommend this enough. So much better than just looking at the penguins from the pier. You learn so much more about them and you get a chance to be active. Terry was a fantastic host.

What an amazing experience! Our guide, Terry, was very knowledgeable about not only the penguins but also seals, whales, sharks and the sea-plant life and was eagar to answer all of our questions. He also guided us to starfish, which my girlfriend had never seen in the ocean, which was a really thoughful gesture. A must do experience for anyone visiting Simonstown.

A really special experience - so glad we did it! A great way to appreciate the area and the whole marine ecosystem and see the penguins (and seals, dolphins, birds) at sea level. Terry was great and very knowledgeable.

Terry was awesome and his knowledge with the peguines were great. He gave me a lot of information I wouldn't have just learned from going to Boulders beach. I am quite impressed. It was fun seeing the peguines and seals. I encourage everyone to do this.

Loved the experience! They took care of 7 girls in a very thoughtful way. Would do this again just for their company ;)
