About your host

My passion lies where nature meets endurance, and in making exciting new friends. I was born in South Africa—we are a friendly breed. It's my dream to have an office outdoors, doing what I love. Having respect for oneself and having respect for the environment go hand in hand. I believe through education we can all help to preserve our natural habitat.

What we’ll do

We'll meet at the Lower Cable Station on Table Mountain Road—you cannot miss it. We'll start 50 meters to the right, facing the mountain, and we'll practice a light stretch as we load our snacks and water. The first 20 minutes of the hike are a real warm-up, as walking up stairs is a thigh burner. At our first break on the contour path, we'll have a chat about the history of Cape Town and South…

What else you should know

As we walk up the India Venster Trail, we'll view Cape Town in its entirety, the Atlantic Seaboard, and the 12 Apostles. We'll ride the cable car down to our starting point.
