What you'll do
We'll get together right before sunset for our run. I'll take you on a moderate intensity route from the southwest edge of Trinidad to the Rio Cañas community, about six kilometers away. We'll take a break there for you to refuel before we head back to Trinidad, rounding out a 12-kilometer circuit. This route goes along the southern road, where you'll get to see quaint fishing communities and families, who make a living by raising cattle and growing fruit. We will learn about this small community.
Water I'll bring a 500ml bottle for you.
Saúl Martínez Escalona
I started having long distances for personal reasons of health when I was 28 years old. Over time, my routine became my passion. I participated in marathons in Cuba and I received prizes for competing, I reached third place in Marabana 2011, the main marathon event in Cuba. While not competing, most of the time I run to stay healthy.
