What you'll do

Your tour commences at the ferry pier in downtown where we pick up passengers coming from Cozumel downtown and Playa del Carmen as well.

On the way to the reef you will be explained how to enjoy more your visit, the basics of snorkeling, what to do and what not to do during your trip while sailing to Cardona reef for a great guided snorkeling experience.

Next we will sail to the world famous Palancar reef for the best snorkeling adventure. Please note we may change reefs because of weather when needed.

I selected these reefs because of their coral formations, abundant tropical fish and other colorful forms of marine life that live there.

The next stop is at the semi-private beach to enjoy included non motorized aquatic toys such as ocean trampoline, floats, kayaks, etc. lunch on the beach based on one delicious cheeseburger made out of imported beef plus plenty of vegetables, pasta salad and potato salad is included as well as sodas, purified water, margaritas, and draft beer.

After lunch and relaxing at the beach for one hour, we will sail back to the departure pier, the boat's crew will serve your drinks and invite you to dance classic beach tunes.
Other things to note
Do not forget to bring bathing suit, sunglasses, beach towel, comfortable shoes, extra change of clothes, and some money for personal expenses including $2.50 USD per person marine park fee in cash on top of the published price.

My name is Gerardo Portocarrero, I have been living in Cozumel Island for more than 20 years, I love Cozumel's beautiful sea, it is great to show the visitors the colorful tropical fish, the amazing coral formations, and the beautiful beach; my large experience includes skills as a snorkel guide and boat captain, I am professional and friendly.

The certified boat is a state of the art sailing catamaran on pristine condition.

The semi-private beach is all powder sand, all the beach equipment is first class. Here lunch is served, beverages at the beach are also included.

My friend Freddy Morales and I have been working together for several years. He is an experienced boat captain and snorkel guide. Freddy has been in charge of everything related to the boat for several years, he has an Airbnb account too.

The staff/crew were very personable and attentive to every detail. Because it was windy and the water rather choppy on our trip, we did not participate in the snorkel sessions, but those who did seemed to have enjoyed the experience. The lunch and time spent on the beach was exceptional and those playing on the water toys seemed to have an amazing time. It was a class act from start to finish and we would definitely book again!

Overall the tour was good. If you could mention it's not the best experience with lack of swimming experience I think the description would be more accurate. In my case that's the only thing why I don't give 5 star. So In case someone not good in swimming can stay onboard during the snorkeling part but that's 40% of the entire tour so consider before you join.
