What you'll do
On our yard there´s a traditional Sami dwelling where we make a fire and have coffee from "kuksa". Kuksa is drinking cup made from carved wood. After the coffee you can decorate your kuksa, with special "Hot pen" for example burn your name in it. You can keep your decorated kuksa as a souvinier.

I have a long history, over twenty years of working with reindeer farming and handcrafts in Lapland, Finland. I have self learned wood craft artist and my passion is raditional wooden cup originally made by the indigenous people of Lapland, the Sámi.
Where you'll be
We stay in traditional Sami dwelling where we make a coffee in open fire and decorate our kuksas. This traditional Sámi dwelling somewhat resembles the tipis of the North American Indians, but is built lower to the ground to withstand the fierce winds and sub-zero temperatures of the Lapland.
