Today is a good day to be a volunteer to give happiness to the disabled at a local association in my neighborhood. Before we do the volunteering, we will go to Chatuchak Market, the biggest flea market in Thailand. It's where we can find many goods such as food, clothes, plants, accessories etc. And now, I'll give you a mission to create your own creative show (singing, dancing, storytelling, magical show etc.) to make the disabled feel happy and enjoyable. You'll need to buy a few things for your show (it can be props) as well as the donation. If you're looking for a mascot costume, I can provide you one!

Feel a bit hungry? We'll move to my home and prepare your show. You also have a chance to cook your own Thai dishes for lunch. Don't worry! I'll teach closely you how to cook.

Next, get yourself ready and we'll go to the local association near my home. We'll donate the things we bought for them first. Now it's time for you to show off! Don't be shy. I'll stay next to you and help you for the show if you'd like!

Before finish our volunteer day, let's row a paddle boat along the canal nearby. You'll see the local life and enjoy the local vibe! Come along with me for a day, and you'll come back with a fulfilled mood and happiness :)

Sa-Was-Dee-Krub (Hello! in Thai). I’m Taro, a co-founder of TakeMeTour. My goal is to host travelers from around the world with the best authentic experience in Thailand like never before (yes, believe me!).

My best co-host (called Mai) will take you on this trip. She is a local chef and food vendor who loves to be a volunteer. In her free time, she always join many associations to help the poor and the disaster victims. it brings happiness to help others and see a smile on their faces. It's been 3 years that she has been working for the association.

She also loves to talk with travelers and show her neighborhood. With her friendliness and energy, your trip won't be the same!

Where you'll be

During this experience, we will visit 3 places. First place is Chatuchak Weekend Market, the biggest market in Thailand, where you can shop and buy the staffs for the donation. Second place, I will take you to my house and cook your own Thai dishes for your lunch! Last place but not least, we will visit the association where we donate the staffs to the disabled and share them the happiness by our creative show.

I got very lucky with Mai. She was so helpful and wanted us to experience things that we might not have without her. She knew exactly where everything was. The experience went perfectly through the day starting from shopping, cooking, volunteering and boating along the canal near Mai's home. Very worth it. I recommend this experience to anyone!
