What you'll do
Get up close and personal to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House by kayak! The tour will take you right up to the Opera House sea wall for the best photo opportunity Sydney Harbour has to offer.
Starting from the RBPS wharf at Rushcutters Bay, we'll weave along the Harbour foreshores to Lady Macquarie's Chair where you'll see Sydney's beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens from a front row seat. After a brief history of the gardens (and a breather!), we'll continue across Farm Cove until we reach the Sydney Opera House sea wall - so close you'll feel like you can reach out and touch it.
After a group photo and some time to enjoy the architecture, we'll strike out across the bay until the Harbour Bridge towers above us for another unforgettable photo opportunity - there really is no better location than right on the water to capture it's size and beauty (and be in the photo!).
After you've had time to take in the sights, it's a leisurely meander around Garden Island, across the beautiful Elizabeth Bay and back to the wharf for hot coffee and lunch.
After this incredibly unique experience, you will be so well versed in the history, the beauty and the secrets of Sydney Harbour that you could become a tour guide yourself!
Other things to note
If we are unable to conduct the tour due to unsafe weather conditions on the Harbour, we will refund your booking in full.

Where you'll be
Starting from D'Albora Marina in Rushcutters Bay, the tour weaves its way along the Harbour foreshores in a Westerly direction. Crossing the beautiful Elizabeth Bay, past the Garden Island Naval Base, through the stunning Royal Botanic Gardens until we reach Farm Cove, home to the Sydney Opera House. Finally, we'll strike out into the Harbour proper until we are front and center for the Harbour Bridge photo. Then, a leisurely paddle home.

If you want to see the harbour up close this is a fantastic experience. Our guide Tony was able to point out heaps of landmarks as we paddled out and we got right up close to the opera house. I would recommend this experience to anyone with an adventurous spirit and a can do attitude. Make sure you wear clothes that you're happy to get wet. I'd recommend bathers and a t-shirt to protect your arms from the sun!

Highly recommended. Wonderful experience even in the middle of winter. The harbour was calm, views exceptional, the exercise easy and our host made it an informative fun afternoon.
All the above. This was a magical day for my partner and me. From the moment we met Tony (Jacqui's husband), to the time we had to leave, he made us feel special. He was relaxed and nattered away comfortably with us. Tony has a relaxed manner that instantly puts you at ease. His simple instructions and guiding way, made us both feel we could do this, and we did. Our tour ended perfectly with hot coffees and ham and cheese toasties enjoyed while sitting on a deck chair in the sun watching the harbour.
Sydney Harbour is a glorious spot, and although I am an Aussie, who has travelled many times on ferries and boats on this harbour, seeing it from the perspective of a kayak is incredible! Don't leave Sydney without having this experience!!

This tour was absolutely amazing! I 100% recommend this trip to anyone looking to explore Sydney and see the opera house and the bridge from a completely different perspective. Thanks so much Tony - I’ll definitely be back for the sunrise tour!
