Hi everybody! I’m Lucia, head chef and co- owner of Mattarello Cooking lab, and me and my husband Francesco are both pasta makers. We came here to San Diego in 2018 to share our love for good food and Italian tradition. Thanks to our cooking classes we are able to share our love and knowledge for Italian food and experience it with new people and places!

Amazing time and awesome food especially the dessert, the chef was very fun to talk to, very kind and patient. The lesson was simple easy to grasp but still turned out delicious pasta I especially recommend the ravioli.

This was an awesome experience. The food is delicious, we couldn’t get enough of the pesto. The host is very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a fun date night.

This was a lovely experience! I would highly recommend to any couple traveling to San Diego, or who live here too! There’s a small group that does this together so it is very personal. You get to have a nice appetizer, make your pasta and have it prepared, and then get a dessert! This was a great value, and we may consider doing the bread making class in the future as well.
