What you'll do

We will start in Lisbon city center with a small briefing on how to use electric bikes. These are bicycles with integrated electric motors, so we can ride uphill as easily as downhill. While we are having fun, you will be introduced to our view and our perspective of insights, funny curiosities, and cool places in Lisbon.

The experience will start at Praça do Comércio, the oldest square in Europe. We will go towards the Belém area, having the first stop at Cais do Sodre, the most vibrant neighborhood in town with home to live music, burlesque shows, and great tapas bars and restaurants). From there we will take the bicycle path with a beautiful and pleasant view along the Tagus river. The group will be easily riding since we will be on a very flat and safe route.

Some of the highlight moments will be passing under the 25th April Bridge, the biggest suspension bridge of Europe. After, we will continue towards Belém Tower, one of the most distinguished examples of the architecture of the reign of King Manuel and to the Discoveries Monument honoring the stoic navigators of all times.

This ride has a low level of difficulty but you still need to know how to ride a bike. Hope you have so much fun as we do every day!

Other things to note:
*Please arrive 15 min earlier to the starting time.
** Minimum numbers of 2 people apply.

Olá! My name is João and I’m a Lisbon-holic. In Portuguese we’re called “Lisboetas”, we’re the crazy localswho can have a beer and a “bifana” at any time of day, who greet anyone and everyone that passes by on the street.

I'm the founder of Boost Portugal, a Portuguese company with more than 10 years providing cool experiences focused on Lisbon's history and people.
I share this adventure with Manuel, Peter, Simão, Carné, and Filipa.
We want to share our stories, our most treasured streets, and sights, and our very favorite spots, so we embrace this experience because we feel those beautiful and special places are worth sharing.

We’re all wanderers, some of us were born and bred in Lisbon, others moved here after visiting and falling in love with the city, but we all share the same passion!

Loved this tour. Electric bikes were definitely like cheating on exercise, but so relaxing to cycle a distance on them.... Nice waterfront tour, (didn't realise Lisbon seafront was so long) several monuments and sights worth seeing, all on the flat but cycled about 25 - 30km in total.

Had so much fun in this tour! We learned a lot of history and fun facts about Lisbon. This is great intro to the city and a perfect way to see multiple places in one shot :)

Really enjoyed this tour with Tony as our guide. He took time to ensure we were comfortable on the bikes and gave us great explanation about the different sights. We stopped for a coffee and Portuguese custard tart towards the end of our cycle tour. We would recommend this trip.

E bikes are amazing! We did about 17km over 3 hours and didn't feel it the next day. Our tour was with the wonderful Alexandra. She was so informative and was a fabulous guide.

Brilliant afternoon's ebike ride along the Tagus river in Lisbon in hot sunshine, Luis a fantastic host and so much to look at. He also happily took photos of us in front of the many sights along the way, and the coffee and pastry near the Torre in Belem was very welcome! A fantastic way to enjoy Lisbon and learn about the city. Thanks Luis!

I had a great experience. My host has a deep understanding of the monuments we visited and the overall history of Portugal. As a history fanatic, I enjoyed chatting with her about the similarities and differences among the histories of Spain, Portugal, and Hungary. And oh, she took some great photos that will always remind me of my time in Lisbon! Highly recommended for both solo and group travelers.
