What you'll do

Welcome to my japanese temple! You will be welcomed with a real matcha tea made in front of you according to the traditional rules. After this, you will have your two feets on the Japan planet!
So we will start with theory, explanation about the base of japanese pastry: Anko (you know it is the weird red bean jam), it will have no more secret for you after this! Then we will put our hands to work. I will teach you how to make dorayaki (classic japanese pancake, without milk), you will bake your own. And then we will make mochi :)
Let me know if you are vegan we will bake 2 differents mochis in stead of dorayaki + mochi.

When I was young, I wanted to become a pastry chef and travel the world. After working in Paris, Mexico and Tokyo, I can say that I have accomplished my dream. I have always been warmly welcomed when traveling and felt like the locals always gave me the best of their country to make my trips amazing !
I spent 2 years living in a traditionnal house in Japan and making japanese sweets, I've seen and lived amazing situations, not really common for foreigners there.
I am now back in Paris with a creation of my own: Agatto, providing travelers with an experience I try to make as wonderful as mine abroad. I also work as a Pastry Headchef in a japanese pastry shop in Paris.
