Growing up in the heart of Bangkok, good quality and fresh food were my first loves. After completing my studies in Architecture, I lived and ate my way around the world.

After years abroad in Singapore, France, and Hong Kong, I now call San Francisco home. I’m passionate about sharing quality home-cooked food with the community and in 2015, I co-founded BiteUnite, a food startup, co-working kitchen, and cafe for food entrepreneurs and chefs.

My co-hosts in Hong Kong kitchen,
Carrie, HK born community Host, arguably makes the best coffees in town.
She loves to bake and cook. She hosts Thai and Dumpling making classes.

To be honest I had good time. Unfortunately I cannot really say my knowledge in cooking improved a lot. The cocking itself was cutting 3 or 4 ingredients, mixing together and closing with hands the dumplings. A little bit too simple for someone with experience.

My husband and I really enjoyed this experience, the whole team were super friendly and knowledgable and made us feel very welcome. We particularly enjoyed visiting the local market and finding out about new products and ingredients, great photo opportunities too. The class was small so we didn't feel cramped and had a lot of opportunity to ask questions and get help when needed. Loved learning how to make dumplings and wontons and especially the eating part later! Only suggestion is to offer a bit more instruction/hand holding when forming the wontons & dumplings as takes a while to get the hang of it! Overall, a fabulous experience, would definitely recommend.

A really awesome experience. From getting an expert Gide of the market to cooking super fresh food, the whole experience was a real pleasure. It wasn't too challenging and I now feel like I have a new skill I can take away with me.

Carmen and her colleagues were just fantastic hosts! Our family of five which included three children under 11 had the best time learning about Hong Kong and actually making real Chinese dumplings and wontons. Our entire family had a great time with Carmen who is an absolute delight and has great patience and rapport with children. This was truly one of the highlights of our HK adventure!

My daughter and I had a fun and productive time attending Pata’s cooking class. The dumplings were delicious and the market tour was informative and whets our appetite to learn more. I’m surprise on how easy it is to make delicious dumplings. It was nice to meet people from different countries but shares the same passion in cooking. It was a happy experience.
