What you'll do

Join this unique two-hour Music History Tour of London to explore Soho with a local musician and witness the evolution of London's music scene from the early 1900s to modern day. Our guide Jess will transport you back in time to explore how London's music scene has evolved over the past century. From the birth of London pop in Soho's coffee bars to the establishment of the first rock club in Europe; the debut of some of Britain's most legendary artists in Soho's live venues to the establishment of recording studios used by the likes of Queen and Elton John - you will discover the instrumental role Soho played (and still plays) in London's rich musical heritage. Hear stories about legendary musicians that have lived, performed, and recorded in Soho's narrow, bustling streets and see first-hand iconic music venues and studios like Ronnie Scott's and Trident. Discover something you didn't know about London's music history. And of course, no music tour would be complete without some live music. So, Jess will providing you with recommendations of her favourite live music venues - where you can enjoy music from local London artists later in your trip!
