American by birth, Scottish by choice, I have bought, sold, judged and written about whisky for over 30 years. A judge for the prestigious World Whisky Awards for the past 9 years, my recent publication credits include Scots Heritage Magazine. Whisky is in my blood, so to speak. Since 2003 I have been running The Anderson restaurant and hotel in Fortrose and have one of the best collection of single malts in the Highlands. We like to offer unexpected whisky flights and pairings to challenge perceptions and introduce people to spirits that they might not otherwise try.
