What you'll do

An unforgettable, educational experience visiting the unique glow worms after a short walk through World Heritage listed forest and rainforest. We will meet at sunset, spending a little time introducing ourselves and safety briefing.
Then as the stars begin to appear, with the use of torches, we will begin our 20 minute walk to the overhanging cave and waterfall, with the possibility of seeing our amazing nocturnal wildlife. Possums, gliders, owls and bats to name just a few. Another truly amazing encounter, only within the first 3 weeks of summer is the chance of fireflies. We will spend 30 minutes to an hour in the overhang, behind the waterfall learning about these incredible glowing larvae and why they glow.
The track is mostly in good condition, though there are some stairs and heavily eroded sections therefore a medium fitness level is required.
Glow worms are extremely sensitive to light and sound so we will ask our clients to respect this and there will be a 5 minute educational talk around this before entering the cave. Smoking is strictly prohibited on this tour. We recommend bringing your own torches, though we can supply if needed.
Minimal impact is very high on our list of priorities and instructions will be given on how to achieve this. We ask our clients to adhere to these rules.

Absolutely fantastic and my kids loved it (11 and 13yrs old). Jamie is knowledgeable and funny. Much more than just a glow worm tour … although the glow worms are beautiful. Highly recommend it.

Jamie has an infectious passion for what he does and to say his personality comes close to outshining the worms is as good a recommendation as I can give - a must do when you are visiting the mountains!

The experience that Jamie had presented to me were completely beyond my expectations. It was much more than just a glow worm tour. He made it fun, interesting and entertaining throughout the whole 2 hours. He was very knowledgeable and seemed very passionate about his job. Come for the glow worms, but stay for Jamie's energy!

Better than expected experience, we learnt a lot about the wildlife in the Blue mountains, and just how diverse it is. The glow worms were also great to look at.
