About your host, Cara
I was born in New Zealand and raised in Australia. After coming to London for what was supposed to be two years, I fell in love with the city's vibrancy and buzz—there is always something happening and something new and different to do. I've worked in London as an early years teacher, and internationally, as a governess and nanny. I hold a bachelor’s degree in education and have studied pediatric first aid. I'm currently completing my master's degree in child studies.
What we’ll do
London is a photographer’s dream—a diverse and interesting social and cultural landscape with historic buildings, gritty urban areas, the perpetual motion of its population, and the calm of its parks and gardens. What I’ll provide
Camera rental 󳀁
I'll provide your camera rental, plus the film and digital processing.
Who can come
Guests ages 6 and up can attend. Parents may also bring children under 2 years of age.
Please dress appropriately for the weather as the workshop is out and about outdoors. Guests should also bring any snacks and a water bottle.
Where we’ll be
We'll start at Chalk Farm underground station and Camden Town's iconic Roundhouse. We'll make our way toward Regent's Park with its amazing gardens and large green spaces. We'll then head north into Camden Town, which was once the home of rock stars and the punk subculture, and then travel down London's evolving Regent's Canal toward King's Cross.
