What you'll do

After we meet up at the trailhead we will introduce ourselves and make sure we all have our riding gear such as a helmet, a pair of gloves, and decent flat soled shoes. Then we will double check that all of our bikes are in good mechanical shape to handle the terrain we will ride. We will go over tire pressures, check tightness of some critical components, check brakes, and check that our bikes are shifting correctly before we get down the trail. Then we will hit the trails rubber side down for a scenic, techy, and adrenaline pumping bike ride.
Other things to note
Trails can sometimes be congested during busy months.
Bug spray is very helpful.

I'm an avid local (and non local) mountain biker, i have been riding mountain bikes for about 10 solid years now. I love all of the places i get to see, the people i get to meet and all the awesome vibes in the mountain biking community. I like to race enduro, downhill, and i dabble in cross country for a change sometimes but that doesn't mean i like to go fast all the time. I really enjoy taking it easy and seeing things when riding with people also. Hope to see you out there and maybe even show you around!

Where you'll be

We will meet up at the Tabaguache (lunch loops) trailhead that boasts some of the grand valleys finest trails. We will take one of my favorite trails up for a consistent climb to get warmed up. Then we will enjoy the rest of the set route that i will be taking you on. We will take breaks and enjoy the scenery as needed. Once we are finished, We will then head back to the trailhead and that will conclude the experience!

Things to know

Cancellation policy

Any experience can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.

Guest requirements

Up to 4 guests ages 16 and up can attend.

What to bring

Be sure to bring plenty of water! I cannot stress this enough. I normally bring a hydration hip pack that allows me to carry about 1.5 liters of water, plus my water bottle. This is enough for me for about a 12-15 mile ride.

Rides can take anywhere from 1 hour to all day depending on rider experience, how many times we stop to look at the amazing scenery, or eat a snack, or anything else we may feel the urge to do mid-trail.
