What you'll do

We will begin our adventure in a remote location, that only few locals know of, with a safety briefing, and guidance on how to operate the kayaks efficiently. Once you are comfortable and ready to launch we will begin our adventure! For the next 2 hours we will explore the hidden mangroves of Harry Harris park where we can potentially spot: Manatees, Nurse Sharks, Pelicans, Cranes, Boobies, Herons, Turtles, Crabs, Jellies, Stingrays and countless fish species! We will be informing you of the different wildlife and plants we spot along the way, making the tour as informative as you would like. Depending on the weather we will be exiting the mangroves and entering the Atlantic Ocean. Here we will get to experience the flats along the shore where countless aquatic species can be spotted and even the occasional dolphins! We will end our tour back at Harry Harris Park where you will have access to the local restroom facilities. We will be happy to take pictures along the journey and if you have a Go Pro we can also mount it to our Kayaks for you.

Where you'll be

Along the way we will experience the calm and shallow Mangroves which host fish, sharks, and Manatees as a nursery and a life source for the local fish species. Once we have toured the Mangroves we will enter the Atlantic Ocean where we will experience shallow flats where the Ocean meets Mangroves. In this area Tarpon and bone fish can be spotted along with an occasional pod of Dolphins passing by in the distance.

Cortney was amazing and friendly. It was an adventure but felt very safe and practiced at the same time. Do this kayak trip!

Communication was excellent. He let us know where to meet, what he’d be driving and made sure he knew what we we’re driving. He was very prompt and knowledgeable

You can tell Justin is enthusiastic about the mangrove ecosystem and its environmental importance. Despite the fact that we had a lot of cloud cover during our trip that made it more difficult to see what was beneath the surface, he kept the tour interesting by providing lots of information about the various types of mangroves and birds, as well as some of his experiences as a diver and his insights into the Florida Keys' sustainability going forward in view of climate change. The kayaking was very calm and peaceful in the quiet, pristine areas where he led our tour.

I was completely Blown away by the Knowledge that both Justin And Cortney had regarding not only the the Environment we were kayaking in ,but their Compassion towards all living species we encountered. While we were paddling Cortney asked if it was ok to pick up some trash along the way(I was so excited and couldn't believe that I found two people just as excited with making this trip not only cleaner and healthier for the Aquatic life but for future visitors as well).Justin took the time to explain how they just released a Sea turtle that they helped rescue and sent to the turtle hospital 8 months prior. They talked in detail about all the aquatic life in the area as well as plants and their role and how they have such a delicate relationship with each other to survive. They did this on a level that was easy and enjoyable for me to understand. This truly was an experience I will never forget and cant wait to go back with them again. This experience would be wonderful for ANY age level.
