What you'll do

You will discover the City, financial centre of London and off-the beaten track area. We will stop in front of five key financial institutions: 1. the London Stock Exchange, 2. the Bank of England, 3. a global investment bank , 4. a global asset manager, 5. the leading financial data provider. I will explain their role in the financial markets and in the economy, given my professional background in finance and economics. The other interesting part of the walk is to see how the old parts of this area (from the Romans onwards) are intertwined with the new urban architecture for a fascinating journey!
NOTE: tier 2 compliant! The walk is completely outdoors, the max number of guests is 4 to maintain social distancing, and we are all requested (you and me) to wear a face cover. I will be using a voice amplifier, so no worries, you will hear everything regardless my face cover!

An excellent introduction to the city and Roberta was really good at just giving the right amount of information- enough to provide an understanding but not enough to confuse

Roberta is a knowledgeable and friendly guide. The tour is well-organised and detail oriented. I have walked by some buildings before but without this experience I wouldn't have known so much deeper. This is a very unique journey that you will not get with other tourguides!

Really fantastic. Roberta is no doubt an expert in finance. And I am very happy we share the same background: economics. She also give m good comments on my future careers. Actually, those institutions where she once worked are exactly my dream places. Great thanks for her!

You should 100% book this tour! Roberta is a lovely person who has had an amazing international career in finance and has so many interesting stories to share about investment banking. I really loved doing this tour with her because not only could I ask her all the questions I've been dying to know about capital markets and share trading, Roberta is also passionate about architecture and I loved learning about the different styles of churches and the award-winning modern buildings in central London. Roberta pointed out all the good photography spots to me and I got some really great shots during this tour. She also showed me all these cool hidden gems for business lunches and unconventional co-working spaces, which I will definitely revisit in the future! Despite it raining the whole time, I honestly enjoyed every minute of this tour, and will definitely join another one of Roberta's tours next time I am in London! Thank you so much, Roberta :)
