What you'll do

You'll discover sea kayaking and the beauty of the Southern coast of Fuerteventura. I will lead you along rocks and cliffs that offer exquisite views. Then we will pass wild beaches and reach el Puertito bay, where we will stop for snorkeling. It's the best place on the island to see marine life. Scuba diving schools of all parts of Fuerteventura come here as it's a truely special place. Don't worry if you don't have a snorkeling kit with you, I will prepare it for you and when we reach el Puertito you jump into the crystally transparent water and i will guide you around this fantastic place. Rocky bottom of el Puertito became home to many species of fish and animals. Observing their life from the surface will stay in your memory for long. It's a special experience to watch the nature how it is. You will be a guest in the sea, a guest who will discover how rich and unrepeatable the underwater world is.
When we return to the school after 2 hours spent in the water, I will show you the pictures of the tour so you can live those great moments again. If you wish to buy the pictures, please let me know.
Other things to note
The minimum age for kayaking is 6 years old.
Kids from 6 to 10 go with 50% discount. You need to book a private group that is for a family of 2 adults and 1 kid. If you have some difficulty with booking the tour with kids, please, let me know.

I'm the owner of a kayak school in the South of Fuerteventura. I've been always passionate about the ocean and different water sports. And now I have turned my passion into my job and arrange kayak tours for the visitors of the island. I like travelling, learning languages, doing sports, yachting. I enjoy living in the Canary islands as the weather is great and lets me go into the sea almost every day of the year. I also do surfing and scuba diving. Now I have family here, two kids, and I am looking forward to teach them aquatic sports as soon as they grow up a little.

Where you'll be

My kayak school is located in La Lajita, South of Fuerteventura. It's a typical Canarian village, where there is no tourism at all. I am sure you are going to like this place.
The school has a perfect position, as it is just in front of the water and it's very comfortable to start the tour here.

A great chance to see some of the costal marine life and the hosts are fun. The trip is part of a little kayak school in a local village along the coast, and it was a great refresher to no be able to see any mass hotels. I found the health and safety protocols for kayaking a touch over zealous for my preference (we had to watch a 20 minute video before heading out). But that would be great for novice kayakers and families alike. All equipment is provided on site - wetsuits, masks, reef shoes. All you need is a bottle of water. And maybe a towel. The hosts kindly do pick-up and drop-off in case you don't have a car.
