What you'll do

We will find ourselves in front of the church of Plaza Viñales and we will go to where the horses are. During the ride you will enjoy the beauty of our valleys, its flora and its fauna. We will also visit the farm of a family, so they can share their experiences and tell you about the processes of their main plantations such as tobacco, coffee and other crops. You will know the typical rum of the region as well as potatoes, mango and avocado. We will continue enjoying the landscape until we reach a lake where we can bathe and refresh ourselves, as well as drink some juice or cocktail. If you wish, you can have lunch in a rustic restaurant in the area, with typical dishes of the region and a wonderful view of the mountains. Upon return, we will enjoy a relaxing ride.
Other things to note
I recommend you bring your camera, sunscreen, swimsuit. I can also help with the transfer Havana to Viñales, by taxi, the price is not included in the payment made, it must be in cash to the taxi.

Magnifique expérience pour découvrir la nature de Vinales et les différents plantations. Je recommande vivement ce moment malgré le faite que nous avons pas pu déjeuner sur place avec les restrictions covid. Les hôtes été très gentils. Merci !!!

Visiting the farm part of this experience was amazing. The farmer was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and shared cigars and rum with us. I really enjoyed seeing his work and learning about the day to day operations. Great experience! Jose's horses seemed well taken care of, more so than some of the other horses around. The lake we were supposed to go to was dried up when we got there, but Jose warned us about that before we got there. He gave us the option to go to an overlook area or the lake area because he knew how dry it was, but we chose the lake regardless. There were some problems with a skittish horse, but Jose worked magic to calm the horses and us. He was a great professional to work with.

Where do i start, this experience is a must do! From the very start Pupito made me and my family feel welcome and safe from my niece being scared to ride the horses to her wanting to do the trip all over again because she loved it ! This was definitely a beautiful site to see and enjoy. The horses are well trained so there is nothing to worry about there as long as you take control of your horse, but no worries pupito is there the whole time along the way for any help or concerns you might need during the tour! Also he was so helpful when it came to booking a taxi from where i was staying to the location of the tour. We all learned so much on the farm. Thank you so much Pupito and many Blessings in the future. From New York City 💕

Horseriding with Jose was perfect! The location was stunning and the horses friendly. Unlike other horses we spotted on other tours, Jose's horses were strong and well looked after. This was important for us. We also loved meeting the farmer and came home with lots of rum and cigars :) Me and my girlfriend would highly recommend this experience with Jose!

There are many tour providers, but pupito's horses were in the best condition we have seen that day, very well taken care of. Pupito was already waiting for us in front of the church couple of minutes before official time, looking exactly as on the airbnb foto. The first stop was on the farm, surprisingly fluent English speaking farmer. We saw traditional cuban agriculture (tobacco, coffee, banana, sugar cane, cassava/manioc) we tasted the local made rum and local made cigars which you can buy. Second stop was in the valley where you can drink fresh juices, eat local food with beautiful valley view. We never rode a horse before, but the horses were really well trained and user friendly. Great Experience! Definitely to recommend!

Jose was so friendly. He's great with the horses (we saw many scrawny horses along the way). His horses are muscular and well trained. My kids loved the experience, seeing the beautiful landscape and farm animals. Jose didn't speak a lot of English but the people we met on the tour spoke pretty well. Another person on the tour also helped to translate at points. The walk from town center to the starting point of the tour was long for my youngest, so Jose carried the kids on his scooter. They loved him and the experience. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip in Cuba with memorable scenery and learning about the local life.
