My husband Eli Hansen and I are the owner-founders of Asp & Hand, a glass design and production house. Our shop is in Bellingham, WA, which is on the coast just south of the border with Canada. Eli and I started our glass business after many years in the art world. Coming from an Art History background, I worked at art galleries in New York, including Gagosian and Hauser & Wirth, and Eli has his own fine art practice, showing his work all over the world. Eli has been blowing glass for over twenty years, working for titans of the craft such as Dale Chihuly, Martin Blank and Sonja Blomdahl. Our dedication to handmade, beautiful glass objects knows no bounds.

Where you'll be

Our hot shop is located on Mount Baker Highway in a bucolic, converted barn. Upstairs, we have a loft space with our own glassware to view and discuss design options. Then we will move downstairs into the shop space itself, where the furnaces and annealing ovens live!
