What you'll do

Walking Weirdly is a new, unique, fun way to explore places. It’s part scavenger hunt, part hide-and-seek, part I-Spy... Sightseeing and exploring the streets of Aegina Town will never be the same again! Anyone can play - it’s perfect for families, groups of friends and people travelling alone.

We’ll meet by the port in Aegina Town and walk to the Tower of Markellos together (150m) while I explain the rules. Then I’ll hand out the card sets and it’s GAME ON - you have 45 minutes to complete the challenge! You’ll follow the instructions on each card that will take you all over the town, from the main tourist routes to hidden corners and the ‘real’ Aegina Town. At the end of the game, we’ll meet back where we started. There’s a small prize for every player!
Other things to note
You don’t need to bring anything to play Walking Weirdly - except your sense of curiosity!

Walking Weirdly card sets are my own original design and available to buy if you’d like them.

I’m an artist, teacher and facilitator, semi-retired community development professional and outdoor swimmer, and I split my time between the beautiful island of Aegina and Pennine West Yorkshire. I have decades’ of experience helping people to explore their passions, connect with others, do new things, create, learn and have fun. I have a Post Graduate Certificate in Education specialising in community-based learning (University of Huddersfield, 1994) - but even more importantly, I have experiences, knowledge and passions to share! I also live with an auto-immune disease, and am always happy to talk to you about adapting experiences to your own particular needs - just get in touch.
