3-in-1 Experience: we explore the authentic Barcelona, then there’s a food market, plus a wine tasting! This unique experience is nicely balanced between local history, culture/art and food & wine on the other hand. All brought to you from the perspective of a professional local guide and wine aficionado. A good way to start your Barcelona trip, you’ll get a clear overall understanding of the city.
Phase 1. A take-it-easy walk through ‘Ciutat Vella’ (or old town). We will feel the essence of the city by taking in all the highlights, without rushing. We will cover the Gothic Quarter and El Born, the core of the old Barcelona.
Phase 2. We’ll break up the walking tour and pay a visit to an authentic, non-touristy food market. The oldest indoor market in the city! You’ll get to know more about Catalan cuisine and delicacies. A delightful break.
Phase 3. Through the less visited back alleys we find our way to the charming area of El Born. It is famous for fascinating history, also for it’s food, art and boutique shopping. Very bohemian! The perfect place to enjoy a wine tasting. This will usually take place outdoors but in some occasions inside an intriguing wine boutique (reduced groups only), a must-see for wine lovers! You’ll get to know more about Spanish wines, and we will conclude with a toast!

Hi, I’m Jordi! I am half Dutch, half Spanish. Born in Holland, living in Barcelona. After music college I became an active musician in the BCN music scene. I'm also crazy about travel and, of course, wine. I used to be an Airbnb host in Barcelona for 4 years, I owe many of my own beautiful experiences to Airbnb.
I was brought up with different languages (Dutch, Spanish & Catalan) but over time English became my main language. We also offer the tour in Chinese, thanks to the best Chinese translator in town (my wife). For about 5 years I have been hosting a variety of tours with small groups, in the city and all over the state of 'Catalunya', as a freelance tour guide. I became a real Catalonia explorer, and this provided me with a broad knowledge of the local history, culture, art, food, wines etc., which I would love to share with you!

Where you'll be
Let me guide you through the labyrinth! The old Barcelona is a maze of little streets, full of hidden treasures. Its easy to get lost, but I will be there to show you the way! From the Romans to the Middle Ages, to Modern times (Cathedral,Roman temple,Jewish quarter,etc.), we’ll cover 2000 years of history. Furthermore, we visit a local food market and we try some wine at a great tasting venue. Let me show you all the ins-and-outs of the city :-)

Jordi was an amazing tour guide. He was super informative and he made the city come alive for us. We loved learning about Barcelona from a native. We would highly recommend going on his walking and wine tour. We tasted the most delicious Cava and red wine. We also felt very safe on his tour and he took the necessary precautions.

I thought I was already quite familiar in the city, but thanks to Jordi I discovered new places and he gave me so much new information as well as ideas of things to do. He knows a lot about the city and he really enjoys showing people around and sharing his knowledge. In just a few hours you get to know so much! It was very pleasant to combine the walking tour with the market and wine tasting. Just the perfect mix of ‘ingredients’.

第一次来巴塞罗那 完全语言不通 简直是无头苍蝇 网上推荐的网红餐厅 贵还很多游客 而且味道也有落差 找到jordi导游之后 知道了很多本地人才知道的地方 他给我们推荐的很多餐厅都很地道 几乎都是本地人光顾的餐厅 超正宗的西班牙口味 他还带我们感受了不一样的西班牙红酒 原本我们根本分不清年份跟出产地的差别哈哈 真的啥叫术业有专攻 果然还是要找专业的人 他还给了我们很多超实用的小攻略 不是我崇洋媚外 但是真的感觉外国人好热情啊.. 总结出门在外 还是要找一个本地人才真的体验到了当地的特色啊 这个导游费真的是这次出门花的最值的地方了 最后真的强烈推荐jordi导游！人太好了 不会像有些导游一样功利就想带去购物店啥的 就是很认真的给我们介绍巴塞 不然我们还傻傻的不知道去哪 多亏了他我们在巴塞玩的超开心的！！
