What you'll do

Guests on my personally guided tour will discover and explore Yosemite Valley from a different perspective from other Yosemite visitors. I bring knowledge of the countless formations and landmarks which make Yosemite unique. Clients will discover Bridalveil Falls, Yosemite Lodge, Yosemite Chapel, Yosemite Conservation Herritage Bldg., Curry Village, The Stables, Ahwahnee Hotel, Yosemite Village, Yosemite Falls, and Yosemite Lodge. We then enjoy a gourmet charcuterie lunch and a variety of beverage options. We then travel to the western end of the valley and view El Capitain's mass while watching climbers thousands of feet above the valley floor on El Capitan's dozens of climbing routes.
Other things to note
Reasonable fitness is required. We are not running any races, but will be exerting some energy by being at elevation. Shortness of breath is common and requires some getting used to, due to the valleys altitude. This is why we schedule plenty of time and take regular stops in order not over exert our bodies.

I have spent my entire adult life sharing experiences either as a kayak instructor, raft guide, rock-climbing guide, wilderness explorer and outdoor enthusiast, sharing our local wild places with all who wish to get to know these places better. Yosemite is a special space and requires a special touch to experience it fully. If time is a factor, I can help you experience it's grandeur with minimal disturbance from the crowds and chaos. Day trips can be special and extremely memorable, this is our purpose. Join me to make a memory that will last forever.

David was amazing! He made us feel so comfortable and really gave a wonderful tour. He is very knowledgeable about the various sites in Yosemite. This is one of the best tours I've ever been on because it felt like we were on tour with a friend. David is friendly, down to earth and just a really cool dude. Our group would definitely go on a tour with him again. He was organized, but also super flexible with us. I would highly recommend his tour.

Dave is the best! He picked us up at our airbnb within the park and had bikes already loaded on his car. He took us to all the spots and had a load of information to give. It was like walking around with a human compass when it came to the park. He took photos of us. The lunch he prepared was amazing and felt so personal. Sitting around drinking beers taking in the view was definitely a highlight. My husband told him how he was apprehensive at first having a stranger take us around, but Dave felt like an old friend and I ended up falling asleep in his car at the end because we had done so much by the end of the day! Go see Dave!

If you haven’t been to Yosemite and want the absolute best possible experience to check as many sites off the bucket list as possible....this tour is an absolute must. David knows this park like the back of his hand and I was thoroughly impressed with the route we took. We finished with an absolutely bangin charcuterie display and overall, I give this 5 out of 5 stars.

David exceeded our expectations in every way. Firstly, he quickly answered all my queries before the trip and made the necessary adjustments for my sons’ food allergies. Secondly, from the moment he picks you up, he makes you feel that the day is all about you. We enjoyed the car drive, the bike ride, and the stops in both the usual and unusual spots. The charcuterie lunch was extra special as we ate the delicious meal with a view of the falls. Lastly, you could feel his love and passion for what he does. He was great in taking pictures of our family. I think we’ll be talking about Yosemite for years to come and he will certainly be part of our memories. Thank you, Dave!

Great experience with Dave and his tour. It was obvious that he has spent a lot of time in Yosemite and shared lots of great stories and interesting facts about it throughout the day. The way the tour is structured allows you to get your bearings of the landmarks and then he takes you to all those places in a relaxed pace. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time with him and would recommend his tour to anyone looking to experience Yosemite park whether you’ve been there before or seeing it for the first time.
