I have a passion for storytelling, and a longstanding love of Oxford and its university. I like to put people at their ease and deliver an entertaining, fun and informative tour which will be the highlight of your trip to Oxford. To do this well you have to have detailed knowledge of both the University and City. I have lived in Oxford for over 30 years and have undertaken the six-month Oxford course of the Institute of Tourist Guiding and passed the practical and written examinations to be an Official Oxford Green Badge Guide. I am also a member of the Oxford Guild of Tour Guides.

A good guided tour going through the history of Oxford and the colleges and university itself. We hadn't been to Oxford before so it's nice to have someone guide you to the top spots and give an informative experience.

A great way to learn about the history of Oxford. A mix of facts, stories and local knowledge all told with great enthusiasm. Perfect for those with no prior knowledge of Oxford and it's college/university structure.

David was a delight. He'd even researched us a bit so he could tailor his stories! He knew Oxford and its history exceptionally well, and made it come alive. Plus, he was a charming host - we thoroughly enjoyed our tour with him, and also came away knowing far more about the city, the University, and the many colleges. Absolutely recommend him to anyone wanting to understand Oxford inside 2 hours.
