What we’ll do

Starting in Hyde Park we will wander Sydney's streets, parks and byways exploring her colonial history and her vibrant contemporary identity through public art, great architecture, gardens and monuments we will finish with the botanical gardens and one of finest views of Sydney Opera House.

What else you should know

Wear sensible shoes, bring your camera and water. A hat and sunscreen is always advisable and an umbrella if its overcast. Hyde Park is easy to reach by train via St James Station.

Where you'll be

Starting at the beautiful Art Deco Archibald Fountain in Hyde Park, we will head off down Macquarie St looking at significant colonial buildings and landmarks. We will detour to the city's side streets to view contemporary public art and stop for coffee and a chat. Rejoining Macquarie St we take in its golden sandstone Victorian buildings and finish at the Botanic Gardens and Harbour with a magnificent view of the Opera House.
