What you'll do

The municipality of San Lorenzo de el Escorial hides one of the oldest and most majestic forests in the Community of Madrid.
Behind its imposing Monastery & its forests of oaks are hidden numerous stories and legends, ranging from the Celtic veins to the nineteenth century.

Our route will begin in the Monastery of El Escorial, where we will begin to walk through the forest of the Blacksmith to follow the route to the chair of Felipe II the place where the tour will end.

Along the way we will enjoy a walk surrounded by oaks & ash trees entering a sacred forest for the Druid Vetons, we will explain all their stories, legends and mysteries that address this place and we will finish the route reaching the most important altar later known as the chair of Felipe II, where we will enjoy the best views of the Monastery and the telluric mountains that surround it.

A route to connect with nature and learn about the history & mysteries of a place that was the center of the world!
Other things to note
The route is 100% on foot, we will not have to take any transport to reach the chair of Felipe II.
